I have noticed a few posts here that have referenced Trout's Notes.

K. Trout has just announced that a new edition of Trout's Notes on San
Pedro & related Trichocereus species is being published. This
material is an expansion of his previous work which has been out of
print.

His web page is: http://www.troutsnotes.com/

Sacred Cacti is a must for people that want to pursue S - C seriously.

Like it states on the book,... MORE THEN YOU NEED TO KNOW!

I think that it's a good book for people that are into (plant) Bio-Chemistry and botany. Also think that it is even too much info if you are only a collector of sacred cacti. A decent knowledge of chemistry - phytochemistry makes it a good read though.

But yeah,.. if you have too much $$ and youfeel like sponsoring Trout!

There are better books for beginners I think! ( I have Trouts Sacred Cactibook, and I find it indeed,... like he says,.. more then i need to know!)
