Side effects - Trying heroin again after 3 months

Hi all just a quick question i have been clean now for over 3 months i used an 8th a day last week swim decided they fancied a treat swim found after using again swim could,nt relax the agitation set in and then sleepless nights just wondered was this the same for everyone or is it just me it took 4 days to feel better again

Honestly, it could have been a lot worse. Even 3 days in a row and then quitting is enough to get pretty damn sick, depending on how good the quality is. (I think that's what you are saying)

Using more than twice a week is asking for tolerance and physical addiction.

When are people going to learn this? People can't sit and shoot up every day and expect no negative consequences.

Like you, I don't understand where people get their info. Even the first times SWIM tried heroin, everyone knew after day 3 it's "in or out."

There was another thread here where this dude was shooting up for a month and everyone was telling him the withdrawals won't be bad at all. I have no fucking idea if these are just pill people speculating about heroin or what.

Swim's a pill person, and has extensive pill experience too, with things often stronger than the local H, but ever since Swim knew learned the term "opioid", he knew he had 2, maybe 3 days usage per week before something nasty would set it. Swim has kept his rule, and NEVER had problems with self control or addiction.

I think it's mostly just people who get into heroin informally, without access to proper info or a proper junkie to "show them around". Lots of people do romanticize heroin too.

Good speculation. SWIM forgot there is a tiny minority of people who could be classified as "heroin posers." LOL

By the way SWIM has much admiration for SWIY's ability to keep to that regiment. I can think of few things that demonstrate a strong character and willpower more than that. Very cool man.

swim says by the time you notice a problem(aka when you run out of cash the first time) its most likelly "too late" swim uses that for lack of a better phrase.. no one swim has ever met quit before they ran out of money and it was "too late" they allready had physical withdrawals and constant mental cravings when it ran out FOR THE FIRST TIME before this no one had experienced any withdrawal at all no comedown no snappyness no "death rattle", no stealing money
swim thought it was "too late" for a substantial amount of time until he realized he o longer got euphoria from his old favourite " the oc 40 " namebrand to be percise ha ha...anyway unless the swimmer in qustion has substantial willpower its almost too late after the first time they withdrawal as they feeling is new and agonizing to them and sence the swimmer is still most likelly financially secure at this point they just end up buying more and repeating the cycle.. so its a hard lesson to catch on too as the addiction will creep up slowlly into every aspect of the swimmers life where they go, who they see, who they date, where they live, what they buy, everything and almost no swimmer ever realizes until its "too late" mainlly because of shitty drug propaganda by the worlds wonderful govts.. thats swims version of how it happens

anyway onto swims response for the original question

swim would definatelly not reccomend continuing swiys heroin usage escpecially not at the level reported (swims referring to length of time not amount he is no judge of swiys tolerance) it has been proven time and time agian that relapse leads back to addiction a model clearlly shown in millions of peoples lives... however with enough willpower , a careful budget, and a lot of knollege about combatting ANY withdrawals and cravings some swimmers can stick to occasional opiate usage, swim actually used an elaborate calendar and bdget until he regained trust in himself
so while swim would never reccomend a recovering addict try to control usage he does acknolledge the fact that after the intial healing is done, swim regains trust of themself, and if very stringent measures are used one can EVENTUALLY once agian or for the first time use opiates in a purelly recreational way.. however at the slightest sign of that menace creeping into ones life swiy must be prepared to halt all use of said substanc

SWIM couldn't keep to such a strict regime so well done to SWIY5legged. When SWIM first started SWIM would ensure that he would never use 3 times in a week and if he did he was looking for trouble

To be honest Jason, if swiys doin 3.5gs a day after being clean for 3 months, (and subsequently no tolerance), swims pretty amazed swiy didn't die on day 1.lol.
But seriously, if swiy were usin that much, what did swiy expect?
once you've had a habit you can never fully reset your clock. pain in the arse i know....
