Drug info - Evaporating salvia tinctures

someone SWIM knows brought up an interesting idea the other day, on the subject of obtaining pure salv A crystals
(SWIM knows you can do the extraction route, and has done, but this is just an interesting theory)

Many of the tinctures state that they are "pure salvinorin A crystals mixed with water and alcohol"
If someone was to buy a few of these and evap off all the liquid / alcohol, surely that person would be left with quite pure crystals?

A very quick google search shows 10ml coming in at about £12-15, so SWIM supposes that the next question would be how much would one actualy get from doing this?

Yes, swiy could essentially just let the tincture evaporate and have decently pure extract. The only problem with this is the cost. That's very expensive for the amount of crystals obtained compared to extracting from leaves.

Hmm, that's what SWIM thought, he might look into wholesale though, purely for research purproses.
