Injecting - Heroin and Cimetidine

Does anyone know if cimetidine has any effect if the opiates that are used are injected?

Yes. Cimetidine lmits the metabolic enzyme that breaks down opiates. Since IV has 100% bio availability already, and the drug is in the blood stream all at once, versus eating a pill where it gradually is absorbed and gradually leaves the body in the order in which it arrived.

This difference may not make the heroin high more intense, but it will definately make it last longer. Also, someone who isn't said it added a very noticable amout of time to the duration.

Swim got some cimetidine today and will see how injected opioids are affected. He knows it def. helps out duration, and keeps Swim on a peak longer, for opioids in general, orally at least.
