Australia - Legality of purchasing prescription drugs online w/o prescription

OK, swim has found a site that offers to sell prescription drugs to people without a prescription. SWIM knows this isn't legal, so: What's the catch? Seems like a set up. Anyone had any experience w this sort of thing?

It may or may not be a setup, a scam, or possibly a legitamate source; not sure how they do things over there in Australia. SWIM has had experience with this, but only with sites offering unscheduled prescription meds based in their own country. Unscheduled meds are presumably easier to get away with as SWIM has heard their country's customs is good at intercepting outsourced (imported) prescription meds (in SWIMs country only unscheduled prescription meds are sold within the country & scheduled drugs must be imported, and have a much higher possibility of being intercepted than drugs bought within their country online).

90% of the websites that claims to give a perscription drug without a perscription are scams. They claim you can get access to whatever if you sign up for the membership. You pay the membership only to find out the drugs they carry are all non-perscription.

assuming SWIY avoids the scam sites, as they do exist, there is no guarantee it will make it through customs

"drug x" is controlled and a prescription drug in australia, but in china for example "drug x" is otc. you go on a site for a store based in china, buy "drug x" it gets sent to your address, customs intercepts it - you face charges of "importation of a controlled substance" -- potentially

There are forums specially for this kind of thing..... Keep looking and swiy will find a forum xxxxxx.com, thoseforums keep a eye on pharmacist from abroad, and give you info on interceptions by customs etc....

They don't like to talk about pill modification, cold water extraction, etc..
And please don't think oxycodone,hydrocodone,morphine,hydromorphone,fenta nil,etc
can be bought, it cant !!!

But tramadol,viagra,benzo's and others can be bought ! Just do a lot of research on those forum(s) before buying anything ! read the reviews from others...

Well the thing is I can only speak for the United States. In the USA you can order drugs that are not scheduled from other countries online without a prescription with little consequence. There are some very legitimate sources and some that are not. So if a person orders a non scheduled prescription drug without a prescription there is a small possibility that customs will hold it. If that happens they can ask you for your prescription. But this is unlikely. Now this would be with non-scheduled drugs. However with scheduled drugs like Valium, narcotics and the like to order and receive them is 100% illegal and can get you in big trouble. One has to understand that the sale of non scheduled prescription drugs by pharmacies in Mexico and overseas to the USA is a huge business and nobody messes with it for the most part if the drugs are not scheduled drugs. It is just like if one goes to Mexico and brings back some prescription nasal spray or an antibiotic. If you do not need a prescription in Mexico but you do in the USA they usually would let it through if under a certain amount. Now I do know that people do get prescriptions from Mexican physicians for scheduled drugs and have these scripts filled in Mexico and bring them over. I am unclear on the legality of this. So in summary if one orders non scheduled drugs from other countries into the USA a problem would be unlikely but if they are scheduled plan on jail time. And Yes there are overseas pharmacies that ship scheduled drugs illegally into the USA. It is an extremely dangerous action.
