Psychiatric drugs and opiates

SWIM takes 5mg olanzapine and 30 mg paroxetine as well as his daily dose of poppy grounds.
What he is wondering is whether either or both of these drugs would theoretically reduce the euphoria/high that he gets from his poppies? Or could they even increase it?
In his own experience, he believes that olanzapine reduces the euphoria of just about every drug, but this is just his opinion. He recently reduced his dose from 7.5 mg to 5 mg in the hope that doing so would increase the high of the poppies. He would'nt say that it has really had that effect, as he had hoped.

Re: Psychiatric drugs and opiates

There's really no reason why paroxetine would potentiate opiates. I doubt it would effect them anyway. Olanzapine is a dopamine and serotonin antagonist so yeah, it probably would reduce the euphoria of most drugs.
