Spanish - Marijuana: Mota or Molta?
I always thought it was Molta (For Marijuana). But upon reading the lyrics of a song I always thought was about marijuana it was written mota. Babelfish says "mota" Means 'speck' so I'm assuming it's a slang or that babelfish couldn't be bothered to include anything relative to drugs (as I tried several variations).

Swim learned from his Mexican friend that quality marijuana is "kokito de chongo" or "mierda de mono." It literally translates to "monkey shit."

Swim would like to add:
This slang term used to refer to low to normal quality cannabis, mainly from Latin America and some parts of South America. Over the years, and the normal evolution of language, it has evolved to represent a synonym for marijuana in the slang of most Spanish speaking countries. |

Swim's amigo calls it a pito. Sorry it doesn't really answer your question.

Quote:
The words "carrujo, canuto, churro" tend to be reginal bounded, and are not widely used. "Pito", on the contrary shares the same qualities as the slang term "porro", but of a smaller size and not particularly containing tabacco. |
