SWIM doesnt understand how people get there hookups (dealers) in all SWIMs experiences its has always been a guy running up to the car door throwin shit in and takin off, never enough time to exchange numbers or anything..

So does SWIM pretty much just have to know someone in the buisness?

Dunno where you live, but in Chicago the whole west side is a huge open market. You just drive around and people yell "ROCKS OR BLOWZ" at you. Normally if there's a whole gang of thugz that's where you want to stop, and if they want to give you the number that's a good sign you aren't going to get ripped off. Gas stations in the deep hood are really good places to meet people. Just hang out there for a while and look shady and someone will come up to you.

Also there's a number of places that you just walk up or drive up to and they serve you. The highly trafficed ones are the best because the gangs protect them and make sure people don't rip you off. Gotta stay up on the open spots though, because when one closes down jackers immediately infest and rob people behind the curve. Maybe you got some of them where you live?

Lol, buying drugs in the hood. It's a good place to buy drugs, but a bad place to be all around. White is alright with swim. Swim waits around for dealers that don't carry guns or superman that hoe. Though it takes a while and many relationships to always find the connect you're lookin' for, old hippies beat young gangsters anyday.

I don't know about heroin but here's how it works with most other drugs: You have a friend who has a good dealer. A lot of the time the friend wont give you his number off hand and most dealers don't like getting calls from random strangers so the friend calls in your first order, sometimes on the premise that its for himself. Then when the dealer comes you introduce yourself and show him that you're not some fucking narc and get his phone number. This is the way it's always worked for SWIM.

yeah what swi said...goes like that with anything...networking is ones best bet... when one buys on the street it's almost always going to be short because of the extreme risk dealers are taking by slingin' on the corner(but this should be expected)....if swiu is a straight cat and don't work a job where other smack users work, one
could try looking for gangster looking cats standing outside of gas stations or quick stops/liquor stores....wear a crappy shirt and jeans, don't look like you have a lot of money....if the mexican dood asks, " eh you lookin' ? "...nod and respond with chiva? (cheeeva)...they could be selling other shit(mota, crack, ice, coke whatever) so be careful, don't mention H or heroin(name = bad stigma and a bust), this drug has such a bad rep that people who aren't slingin' it might just jack/kick the shit out of swiyou for the fact they know your a pos junkie...make sure swi sees what you are getting before you exchange, and if swi gets jacked just accept it and walk away...not worth getting stabbed over fighting about it...on the west coast (california, oregon, washington) tar heroin comes in balloons and is 90% of time sold by either mexicans, white bikers, or people who use speed as well...so one has a fun bunch of characters to interact with to get high hahah.....the games one has to play just to get high is what eventually led swim to stop even doing smack....be safe out there

swim could just say to a junky: Got xxx amount of money bring me where you get it from, and we have a great day !!! Then swim got an house address (crack, heroine den) And would be easy to go from there.

Junky might want to rip swim off and say: Just give me the money and I (junky) will get it, and junky will never been seen again...

This is a thing swim was thought by his dad...(If swim ever needed to get heroine in different town, place, etc..)

As for swim it was always "easy" to get heroine in his birth place ("Thanks for that dady")

Doesn't swiy have friends who can get him connected ? Thats how things usually go. All drugs not only heroine.

Swim isn't sure about US, But in The Netherlands, Uk. Or in most places thats how things work..

Or swim could say to a junky: Will give you xx amount if you bring swim to the dealers (crack, heroine den) If he says, No ! (I can only go alone, give me your money and I will rip you off.) Then swim says: Ok, Will ask someone else.. junky will change his mined and if not, go to next junky..

Be careful !!!! Swim seen lots of tricks..... And fallen for most...

Copping in the projects is stupid on so many levels. If you drive, the guys might decide that your car is worth more than your business. If you walk, you run a serious risk of getting mugged. Either way there's a good chance a cop will see your scrawny white ass and he'll damn well know what you're doing. Also, if you have a number you can call there's a little bit of accountability if you get skimped and phone connections are a lot less likely to skimp you or try and rip you off anyway.

Swim waits around for dealers that don't carry guns or superman that hoe.

The only danger is really from the cops. The gangs have their drug areas locked down so no petty criminals fuck with their customers.

LOL. Like some crackfiend cares about a future possible bashing, when they could have a car that they could get high off for a week. Yeah, fiends of any type are not going to be on their best behavior under any terms, even when bribed with drugs or money.

As for the "I have to take the money and go get it myself since they don't know you", this is commonplace for Swim's area. Most of the times, it's a scam, but you can't say anything about it. If you question it, the person/connect/whatever will dump you instantly and blacklist you. If you trust them, they can take the money or drugs and run. It's just try and see.

Swim went to get pot the other day, and the pothead girl said "ok, drop me off here, and give me the money", and Swim was like "..." But gave in. Luckily, she came back with the stuff. Lucky.

It's a thousand times worse for coke or H though.

Maybe it's different in smaller cities, but it's not a problem at all at the major dope spots in Chicago. Everyone knows the neighborhood crackfiends (myself included now), and the local people fear the gangs a lot more than they do the police, and don't do ANYTHING to fuck with their clientel. I've taken my white, pretty ass with my big ass black northface jacket with the fur lining that they all would like into the worst hoods in Chicago (and walked all over them past groups of gang bangers and shit) for 3 years now and no one's even talked shit to me let alone jacked me or anyone I know.

The dope dealers are out at the main spots from sunrise to sunset, and nobody steals, causes a problem, or does anything like that while they are there. In Chicago the entire West Side is pretty much run by one gang, and the South Side is run by another, so there's not a problem of getting caught in the crossfire.

^^ Interesting. Down here, it's every man for himself, quite literally, and there are no gangs down here really. Small, neighbourhood type stuff, but not the real gangs, just kids and hood folk. You don't even want to drive through a bad part of town, much less walk by. Maybe the cities up north are better.

It's really violent. Everyone rats out everyone, or just flat out robs them and/or shoots them. Lots of murders down here. In the local paper, there are almost daily murders, usually deals gone bad or setups, in the hood parts of town.

Bingo! Whenever Swim is in a new (larger) city he just acts like he belongs and doesn't have a bad time and he has done that shit just to get weed when he first started. All that military training about how to blend into foreign countries paid off.

Or just finding someone else interested in indulging in the same substance ....

But swim's town is not large, and even when she did live in a larger town and used, starting with the weed dealers always led to something bigger. It may be different in other parts of the world; swim isn't sure.

swim's neighborhood is over run by white kids who think they're hard, and will even rob friends. Weed has a pretty strait business, but with anything else (which is almost impossible to find) you better know what your doing, and have the experience with the drug before. Swim's friend went to pick up an 8 ball of coke, and has never even seen coke, and got beat for 2 grams. He got in the car and swim was like, "wow. what the fuck is this...." This kid blazes nightly, and you'd think he'd know what 1/8th would even feel like...... stupid kids, think they can get away with anything, but they do.... tough neighborhood for a psychonaut.

if swiy look like a pussy and can't think of anyone who doesn't who will help swiy forget about that method though.

Thanks for the compliment. And yes this could work out very easy... Its usually the junky who will try to rip swiy off, But keep your money in your pocket untill swiy has arrived at the crack/heroine dealers house. In swims experiance (In The Netherlands) A Dealer pays a user xxx amount in cash and or drugs to use there place for selling... If/When swiy gets to a place like that there will be signs of drug abuse like: Amonia (to make crack from coke) Spoons, Aluminium foil, etc.. And sometimes needles. There willl be people using, Most of those places the home owner and the dealer will allow people to use there just bought product.. And don't expect anything fancy !! Swim seen some shit holes...!

Keep in mined that the dealer will move around eg: different address in swims time it was about every 3 months. The reason for that is, Lots of activity people coming and going, most of them "funny" looking.

Swim remembers from a long time ago that at an "address" it was a big building with lots of flats they changed the door bell to a little light flashing, so the neighbours couldn't hear the door bell..

Swim also remembers ones there was a panic (someone mormal at the door) He was a heroine user with a normal job, in his work clothes (a plumber) He said: I have heard you can get something here from ...... And I only use half a gram a week and for the rest am on methadone. He was welcome.

Maybe we should rename this tread to "How to fuck up your life" Trust swim junky world not a lot of fun !

Swims been an heroine addict at 13 (when dad got out of prison for murder) his dad had a dealer in his flat when swim was 14-15 and swim stopted using heroine when he was 17. Swim was on a methadone course when he was 15 and failed, then again at 17 and got true it.

Its up to swiy, but swim seen it all and would have been better of if he didn't !!

Swims experience he just stops in the city and a lot of junkies sell works you buy some works off them and ask them if you buy them a bag will they take you to the best shit in town and swim hasn't found one with a problem with it, you go and remember how to get there then the next time you go you don't need anyone to show you and then over time if the spot stays open and good swim just keeps going back, been going to the same spot for a year now.

Holy shit. This morning SWIM really wanted to get high, so he figured fuck it ill try to go score on the block. He went down to Grand st (stl city) and waved some clack dudes over. They said all they had was weed. So swim though it was a waste of time. But then one of them was like hold up i can get it for you. He hopped in the car and off we went. SWIM figured he might try to say something along the lines of "gimme your cash and ill go get it" but no, he told me to pull over, he got out went up to a door, and came back with the shit. All good, and he gave me his number. !!

SWIM met people through other people, first dealer for YEARS was that type of connect, in the late 90s in Stl. Used to be HARD to score, hadda have someones #, lots of bullshit, waiting around for hours etc... SWIM got a few other connects when the first guy was in the midst of getting busted and would call from other peoples phones... Same bull. Oh, and it was crappy crappy tar too. Then SWIM moved to Chicago. Where it's EXACTLY like dyingtomarrow said.. WOW easy to score! Now SWIM too is back in Stl. And the dope game here is WAY different than it used to be, much more like Chicago or NYC. TONS of dealers, good china white, cheap pills of dope instead of massively expensive bags of shitty tar.. SWIM met his most recent connect while shopping for beer high in a grocery store in the city. A gal from the hood musta seen SWIM nodding, and started chatting SWIM up, invited him over to a party at her house.. SWIM thought he was being set up, but kept the #. When SWIM got desperate a week or so later, he called her up. Turns out she's a dope fiend, her BF is a dealer, and her street is like, dopeville. SWIM met 3 or 4 other good connects through her and chillin at her crib. Still no open air markets like Chicago or NYC, but shit, the dealers deliver and are somewhat timely now because there is so much competition...
Also, most dealers give an extra pill/bag or 2 when spending above a certian ammount, which is pretty awesome.

OHH, SWIM doesn't know how he forgot this.

SWIM went to a poor ass government funded 28 day rehab program. By the next day he had gotten some numbers, and corrupted this other dude with an awesome heroin hookup to leave with him and take a cab back to the city to get fucked up. Didn't even last 24 hours there. One of the dudes SWIM met thru there, SWIM was able to cop OZs of top notch raw from for a killer price for a while.

But, like the poorest of the poor, government aided rehab places are REALLY good places to get drug connections. SWIM just accidentally got his primo hookups there, if he had been trying and talked to more people he probably could have done even better.

But if you look even vaguely junkyish, i.e. skinny, dirty, pissed off, then just ask some other junkies.

Swim has found himself in loadsa cities 'round the UK with no numbers and a rattle kickin in. But fortunately for swim, every city in the UK has a healthy population of smackheads.

Swim just walks around the centre of town for a bit and normally sees a fair few within like 5 minutes, scurrying about their business. Remembering what swim was taught in school,- 'If you're lost don't approach a man; look for a mother with children', he normally goes for the friendlier looking smackheads, the one's rooting around in bins for tin foil, as opposed to the one's swigging super tennants' and hitting each other.

Then it's simple, 'hey I've just got off the train i'm rattlin badly, i'll get you a bag for yourself if you can get me to a decent dealer'.
Swims tried this repeatedly and never been ripped off. swiys got to give a bag to the junkie for helpin you out, otherwise they have no incentive to help you out. but, to end a rattle (and get a new number) it's the fastest way.

Swim has wanted to try H for a while. In the Uk swim finds this particular chemical is frowned upon by all, drug users included; most no nothing of the effects, just the steirotype.

After about 5-years and all other chemicals swim still hadn't tried. Swim made his mind up and went to a well known prostitute area. After hanging around for a bit swim scored off the 3rd girl he tried at a fair bit of expense.

However swim was v dissapointed with the brown H he later smoked off foil, V sleepy but not much pleasure. Swim is sure he could score more but wants a pure no 4 type H (whitish powder) Swim doubts these ladies will supply that.

This is the conundrum, how to score proper powdered H.
