JWH-073 (1-butyl-3-naphthoylindole)
Please post info about JWH-073 here.
Can anyone add information about:
These documents about JWH-073 are in the file archive Here is some info on this cannabinoid, a few of swims friends have tried this compound and remarked it was quite similar to the real thing, but it seems most people are liking the JWH-018 more at this point in time perhaps because of its lower dosage. Re: JWH-073 (1-butyl-3-naphthoylindole)
SWIM was able to try 3-6 mg last night smoked on top of the ash of cashed bowl.
Effects were almost instantaneous and lasted about an hour being very similar to thc but not quite as strong, however there was a body high that was more noticeable than with thc. Since SWIM had smoked a few joints that night he plans on testing again tonight completely sober and measuring the jwh-073 with a more precise scale. Edit: Also worth noting that this compound was a slightly off white powder unlike the photo of the jwh-018, he will also get a good picture of this chemical later today. |

Re: JWH-073 (1-butyl-3-naphthoylindole)
I found picture comparing JWH-018 and two different batches of JWH-073.
The left is JWH-018, middle is JWH-073 from the same supplier and the third is JWH-073 from a different supplier. This makes allot of sense now seeing that even this suppliers JWH-073 comes out looking more like the JWH-018. |

Re: JWH-073 (1-butyl-3-naphthoylindole)
Hi, swim already tape-worm experience with some mixtures of the psychedeli and has decided to buy jwh-073 and to impregnate it in a herbal base (acetone 100 %)
It has been narcotic, similar to the herbal blends but with his own. It has seemed to swim to be relaxed, not very loudly of power but agreeably. It has been something similar to this phase of the yucatan fire in that you stay relaxed and diminishes the psichodelic effect. Last edited by ~lostgurl~; 30-03-2009 at 00:16. Reason: swim |

Re: JWH-073 (1-butyl-3-naphthoylindole)
JWH-073 is not currently controlled under the CSA.
Although JWH-073 might have similar effects in humans as Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinol (Δ9-THC), the main active ingredient of marijuana, it is not controlled in the U.S. Last edited by Shampoo; 06-06-2009 at 08:23. Reason: link to a .gov site |

Re: JWH-073 (1-butyl-3-naphthoylindole)
Here is some information found from the website of a chemical supply company.
JWH 073 is a mildly selective agonist of the central cannabinoid (CB1) receptor derived from the aminoalkylindole WIN 55,212-2. The Ki values for binding CB1 and the peripheral cannabinoid (CB2) receptor are 8.9 and 38 nM, respectively for a CB1:CB2 ratio of 0.23.1 Its effects on suppression of spontaneous activity, maximum possible antinociceptive effect in the tail-flick assay, and rectal temperature are comparable to those of WIN 55,212-2 when tested in rats.2 1 Aung, M.M., Griffin, G., Huffman, J.W., et al. Influence of the N-1 alkyl chain length of cannabimimetic indoles upon CB1 and CB2 receptor binding. Drug and Alcohol Dependence 60 133-140 (2000). 2 Wiley, J.L., Compton, D.R., Dai, D., et al. Structure-activity relationships of indole- and pyrrole-derived cannabinoids. J Pharmacol Exp Ther 285(3) 995-1004 (1998). It is insoluble in water at 25 degrees celsius. It is soluble in DMF, DMSO and ethanol. It is a crystalline solid. It should be stable for at least one year when stored at -20 degrees celsius. |

Re: JWH-073 (1-butyl-3-naphthoylindole)
swim is curious, what would be the recommended dose to infuse per 1gram of base herb? for e.g. 10mg/1g (for -018) seems pretty decent. read 073 requires higher doses? can swiy confirm this?
