Re: Advice on moving onto subutex

swiy is going to need more subbys to succeed as the gear will take at least 7 to 10 days to get out of the system. The first 3 days are the most crucial and worst part of wd then it gradually subsides. swim would suggest sourcing more subbys, at least a couple of weeks worth of 8mls or its just not worth starting something that cant be finished. swim understands totally about the lack of interest in the gear but it just becomes a daily chore and probably very fitting that its referred to as a habit. swiy should stock up on the subbys first and then at least swiy is armed for the battle to commence. Also the valium help in the last stages of coming off the subbys. good luck my friend and dont give up.

Re: Advice on moving onto subutex

Swim went to a street agency todayas a self referal and i'm to go back tommorrow to discuss my situation with the doctor, who'llprescribe me pretty much straight away from what the nurse/drug worker told me, so that's a positive turn. If i get the script tommorrow i'lkl start tommorow. I've asked for a quick dtox so i can get it out of the way. On the whole i feel much better about things,

Hello all, just thought i'd update this thread in case anyone's following it.
I saw the doc today and i start on a suboxone script tommorrow. He's started me on 8mg for day one and then that goes up to 16mg on day 2 and then i can be maintained on that if i want. \thing is, I want off everything so i'll get comfortably off the brown and then a quickish detox indoors, which i know i can do as i've done it before. I've got some hash which i find helps me out a great deal. A lot of people say they don't like it when w/ding but for me it works a treat, calms me down. One thing i'd love is to have some valium but i can't get hold of any.
Anyway, it feels like i'm going in the right direction now and actually doing something about my dependancy instead of talking about it.

Re: Advice on moving onto subutex

swim has done his detox in just over a week fairly easily. just remember to leave the rattle as long as poss then maybe drop 10 or 20 mg of valium to sleep in to the rattle a bit more. swiy should start with 2 or 4 mg first then work up. 16mg sounds alot but everyones different. swim is completely free of all opiates now and is all for the quick detox then the subbys dont have chance to grab you as well. btw if swiy has meth in his system too, it will be harder and will have to rattle even longer before the jump to subbys. again, good luck and dont do it on your own, have a close friend stay to help.
