What keeps you doing it?

Despite SWIY knowing the dangers, the spiralling costs and all the other negative points of having a heroin habit such as getting involved in criminal activities, what is it that keeps SWIY going back for more? Is there any single reason why you keep taking it?

Is it the fear of going through cold turkey? Is it enjoyment of it's effects?(surely not as they diminish the more you take it) pain relief?
