Experiences - Random places to pop ecstasy

This is SWIM'S first thread and he was wondering what unusual places others have taken E.

He has tried the local zoo with awesome results. He was wondering if anyone has tried it on a plane.

My raver friend once tried it at a parade. It was the traditional huge East Village halloween parade. Epic failure. The parade was moving too slow and lacked enough stimulation to hold his attention and he ended up running around new york city until he found his friends (he refused to use his cell phone to aid in his search, he wanted to run around until he found someone). After meeting up with friends he convinced them to follow him to an illegal rave being thrown in a construction site he hadn't really planned on attending but now sounded amazing. Of course the mixture of E and a rave worked out flawlessly but the other stuff not so much.

He always tells me that he refuses to try E in a situation where there's the potential to be confined in a situation where he has no control over. So waiting in lines like in an amusement part or physical barriers such as a plane are ideas he does not equate with a possible enjoyable experience.

I don't understand why you would take E at a zoo? or a plane? That makes no sense to me. Hallucinogens? Yeah, I can see that. I have done acid at a museum, parks, etc but ecstasy? Its like popping it at home by yourself, accomplishes nothing, enhances nothing.

my friend thinks a zoo would be great with friends, running around like idiots observing cute fuzzy critters in an open space. Good enough for him.

I don't know but ecstasy's properties are energy, enhanced feelings/touch, visuals. None of that are needed or accomplished at a zoo. You can't dance, you'll feel euphoria but not really any touch sensations and no light visuals.

Maybe its just me but it sounds like waste of E.

OMG! this is wierd. My friend yesterday told me that he did exactly that a week ago when he went to spain.

He's a very irresponsible user, gets carried away with everything he does, and he can get quite aggressive when he's really out of it. What you would call a messhead. He said that he did three in the toilet, even though his mates didn't want to. When it kicked in he was listening to music on the headphones and he started moshing in his seat, and decided to get up in the aisle to dance! which nearly got him kicked off the plane, although apparently lots of people were laughing, just thinking he was drunk. Though I dont think they would have kicked him off in mid air, that would've been kinda harsh. And he was just really loud and annoying for the people around him. And apparently he nearly got arrested at the airport for causing hassle. Wish I knew more, but I only saw him briefly.

So, probably not the best place to do pills. Especially three in one go and if your a messy idiot

Swim believes this would be a waste of ecstasy because as others have stated, Swiy needs stimulation to have a proper roll, the best being in a nightclub environment in Swim's opinion. Ecstasy really is the perfect drug for nightclubbing as it enhances the music, makes Swiy want to dance, the dark atmosphere mixed with moving lights/lasers looks and feels fantastic, every other clubber is feeling similarly high, it's euphoria. But at a zoo? Swim doesn't understand why Swiy would use ecstasy at a zoo.

swims done mdma at work before with a friend when his boss was off for the day, and it was one of the funniest days of his life. swim and friend just told their work mates he had been to the pub at lunch and got a bit carried away. Ended up convincing everyone to play crazy golf down the aisle, and then prank call everyone under the sun with stupid accents and saying stupid things. Highly recommended, but only if you think it will go un-noticed and you can pass it off as being drunk. The pupils usually give it away if people are very observant.

My raver friend often does E outside of highly stimulating environments, in fact, he prefers it. He loves the therapeutic aspect of it and the bond-forming potential between friends. Often times when it's been a while since he and his best friends have hung out in a while, they'll have a group roll to reconnect with each other and usually they'll just sit around at home and enjoy each other's company. Those are much more memorable rolls than just bouncing around in a club. That's why my raver friend thinks any environment with friends would be fine on mdma.

Agreed. Often a stimulating conversation is the only stimulation Swim needs for a good roll. He'd also have to agree that nearly anything you do with MDMA has entertainment potential.

Swim and his compadres recently went MDMAzer tagging (lazer tagging) with excellent results.

BTW SWIM has never taken E (ussually never pure MDMA on the streets these days), but just a suggestion. Enjoy

SWIM has always (since he first tried it, anyway) had a sneaky urge to pop a pill and then wander around somewhere like St. Paul's cathedral - not while there's a service on or anything, that might be a bit intense and SWIM's an atheist in any case - but just to enjoy the beauty and space of the environment, like you would in a really ancient forest or at an unspoilt beach on the off season when there's no-one else around. He hasn't tried it yet, but is still toying with the idea. SWIM can't shake the feeling it might be a bit disrespectful, though. SWIM wouldn't be leaping about the place singing and dancing, he can keep himself to himself when need be. One of his favourite places to wander around while still up from the night before and residually high is the British Museum.

Another option would be the Natural History Museum - with the MOTHERLOVIN' DINOSAURS - but SWIM thinks that would be better on mushrooms. Probably not going to happen now the killjoys have banned them. Still, you never know.

Monkey would much prefer to walk around St Pauls or a museum on a low dose of acid...

It would be awful if it was a boring museum though!

SWIM has a story to share. A few years back, SWIM and partner went to Amsterdam to visit partner's brother for a weekend. SWIM and partner rolled the whole time and even rolled right before SWIY the return flight (approximately 8 hours). SWIM and partner slept the whole flight and only woke up as the plane was landing. Guess it was overkill, but SWIY slept like babies!

you're joking surely! admittedltly not as fun as popping it at home with a few good friends, but swim would tell you he usually gets more off them at home rather than say in a club cos you can focus more on what the chemical is doing to swiy, rather than whats goin on around you. nice bit of music, rolling around on the carpet in a gibbering mess without having to worry about any members of the public compromising your enjoyment - wooop, good times!

That isn't strictly true. Little fishy on occasion likes to indulge at home by himself and it accomplishes a lot. It's like a therapy, helps you to understand yourself and reflect on your life. An insight into your own mind on a deep personal level is not possible with the many distractions around that are associated with partaking with friends. When little fishy has done this he likes to put his fave tunes on, and those are enhanced a thousand times over.

same here, can be very theraputic. The few times swim has done it he usually ends up writing a list of things he has to do that he's been avoiding and lets him sort any issues out. Gives wonderful powers of self introspection unrivalled by any other drug in swims opinion (apart from maybe shrooms).

Little fishies second best experience was rolling around on my sisters floor, he woke up covered head to toe in white fluff where he had stole her duvet for the comforting feeling it has. High doses certainly increase the sensitivity of touch - it's almost inevitable you'll be rolling around on the floor or in a blanket or something. :P

SWIH should try a lower dose on his own and see where it leads him, little fishy likes to do it around once a year for introspection (thanks syn - that was the word I was trying to think of in my orinignal post). It's like cleansing your mind and help you find solutions to any issues you may have. Little fishy finds that ~80-100mg is best for this assuming abstinence for over 6 months.

Re: the people in this thread talking about taking pills while on, or about to get on, a plane - am I the only person here who thinks it might be a spectacularly bad idea to be in an airport while high on, let alone in possession of, illegal drugs?
