Snorting - snorting Alprazolam. need pros/cons.

i got 2MG xanax on lock, every week i get about 20. if i were to snort some, how would it effect me? my tolerance is at the point i need 5 pills at a time.

SWIM recommends swallowing them, or letting them dissolve under SWIYs tongue (sublingual ingestion).
Most benzos are not water soluble which makes snorting them much less efficient, so SWIY should stick to swallowing them or sublingual them (they kick in really fast anyway, so why bother?)

Also, 10mg of xanax is a lot, man. Perhaps SWIY should lay off for a bit, let his tolerance come down, then take way less - more bang for your buck..
SWIM doesn't take benzos daily or anything, but a 2mg bar will give SWIM at least 2 good doses.. SWIM can't imagine taking 5 and actually still staying awake and functioning.

Agreed. SWIM also hears some people have pretty cruddy withdrawals from benzos, so be careful. Personally, SWIM never has (even after being on valium for about 2 years and only coming off them with 3 days worth of them), but SWIMs brother was on Klonopin (much much longer half-life) and he had a really hard time getting off them (both of them had used them for medicinal purposes mostly), and he said it felt pretty horrible.
