Banned from Prison over unproven allegation

SWIM has just received a letter from a UK prison stating they are now banned for 12 months due to being seen on CCTV performing an illegal transaction. SWIM has not performed an illegal transaction and was never challenged on any visits to this establishment, in fact the letter came out of the blue. SWIM can see no legal line of appeal as the ban isnt a criminal conviction (no police involvement) nor is it a disciplinary procedure (SWIM isnt the prisoner, merely the visitor).

To make matters worse, SWIMBF has now been transferred to a different jail where the Governor has decided SWIM's ban will remain. SWIM has visited the (2nd) jail on numerous occassions in the past with no misdemeanours and no suspicion raised.

Apart from the obvious strongly worded letter to the Governor, does anyone have any suggestions of how SWIM can go about contesting the ban and having it overturned?
