What are are your favourite trance tracks (or good dance tracks in general)? Its hard to find some that have really good peaks and arent really cheesy and fake. Some of my favs are:

Paul Okenfold southern sun (tiesto remix)

Ballerina (dont know the artist)

Adagio for strings- Tiesto

Suburban train (very good song but dont know the artist)

Not "trance", but if in the middle of a heavy psycadelic try "Sunset Grill" by Don Henley. The keyboard orchastration at the end is some very heavy shit. I'm not kidding. I know music and there is some incredible things going on in this song. Even sober the layering of the sounds after the bridge is impressive. Just try it and I think you'll be impressed. Again, this has nothign whatsoever to do with "trance" or anything in that vein, but as a popular song from 1986 there are very deep things going on here if you look for them. Either that or I'm just listening too hard.

Eagles. Rock.

SWIM usually listens to Trance on ShoutCast.com and saves the tracks he likes. However, 'good tracks' are mostly subjective and common good tracks are very few. How about uploading favorite tracks for members to try and download? Is there enough space?

try sasha's mix "involver". moodier than some, but more truely "trancing" than some of the mega anthems.

Re: Gd Trance tracks?

Oakenfold, Corsten, and Tiesto create/play nothing but cheap tack in my opinion. I'm guessing many fans of this kind of "trance" are Americans who aren't used to hearing a lot of different music.

I'm sticking with goa and psy trance.

Re: Gd Trance tracks?

Resurrection by PPK (space club mix as designated by limewire) is a classic club song (no lyrics) it's 8 min long and the peak is great. also check out Aurora Borealis by Astral Projection (great for rolling), and Come To Daddy by Aphex Twin (not really trance but just saw it on my list and had to suggest it)

Re: Gd Trance tracks?

Most of that playlist doesn't even classify as trance....
Gotta agree with daeron and vysas here.

I'm not that much into trance anymore but I
just wanted to mention Goa Gil, Sun Project...
Also for some old school, try Klaus Schulze.

60-70% of it is, it was actually made so SWIM and friends could get Eurphoric on E so wasn't specifically a genre.
