Is there a minimum usage requirement for certain drugs with hair tests?

SWIM has a potential impending hair test within a week or so. SWIM hasn't smoked weed in 80 or 81 days as of today, and my hair grows fairly fast, so SWIM should be in the clear there.

However, SWIM is curious about the detection of other drugs in hair analysis. It seems like the vast majority of information on hair analysis that SWIM has found on the internet mostly pertains to marijuana. In specific SWIM needs to know about MDMA and amphetamines. SWIM did two pills about two months ago in one night, and then close to two weeks after SWIM did one more pill. SWIM wouldn't be surprised if the pills had some traces of amphetamines in the pills, as they had tinges of the effects from uppers.

What SWIM wants to know is the likelihood of these popping up on the hair test.

Also, do the few shampoos known to increase the chances of passing (eg Zydot) drug tests help with other drugs as well, or are they strictly for use of removing traces of THC. If not I am considering doing a bleach/redye and shampoo treatment.

Here's some info on hair testing:
Hair testing is considered accurate and can go back as far as 90 days. As hair grows out, any drugs used are encased in the hair shaft. Longer hair can reveal an individual's drug history spanning a longer period than shorter hair. Human hair grows an average of .5 inches/month, which corresponds to 30 days of possible drug testing for approximately every .5 inch. Testing laboratories generally require between 0.5 and 1.5 inches for testing. This represents approximately 30 to 90 days of drug use.

As swijunkhead23 suggests a hair cut would be advisable,the drugs taken should be approx in the 1-1.5 inches(25.4-38mm) of hair closest to swiys scalp so a good close no3 should do the trick.with regards to shampoo there is no proven way to cleanse or mask hair strand tests as the drug molecules are located inside the hair follicles.Also take into account that if swiys hair cut seems a little obvious to the tester they can use body hair instead.
Good look and just hope your hair test is part of a random test program...ie they take samples from 10 people but only test 5 of the actual hair strands taken!

Alright, thanks. SWIM has gone through his old phone calls and texts and determined that the second dose of MDMA was on Oct. 4th, which means (assuming the test will be next Friday) SWIM will have had 48 days of buffer in between those dates. Banking on the fact that my hair grows fairly fast, SWIM is thinking if he does a #7 with the clippers (7/8 of an inch, which comes out to 52.5 days of detection for normal growing hair) he might eek out a negative. The only thing SWIM is worried about is whether or not the collector is going to want to use body hair if he goes that short, beacuse if they do that then SWIM is definitely fucked. Do they actually measure your hair's length, or do they just eyeball it? Do any of you have personal experience getting your hair tested having it about that short?

Quest Diagnostics (the drug testing agency SWIM might be sent to, judging from the amount of locations in his area) specifies this in their "Hair Testing FAQ":

If the donor has no head hair or hair shorter than 1/2-inch long, the collector may use
chest, underarm, leg, or face hair — in that order of preference.

However, I'm not sure if that is an established minimum, or if they leave it up to the collector's discretion. Any opinions?

By the way, SWIM is planning on doing the cut a day or two before the assumed date of the test so as to maximize the chances of removing the "dirty" hair.
