Drug info - Vaporize tobacco?

would it help if you vaporized tobacco from a cig (or from those packs) using a lightbulb?

SWIM doesn't know about using a lightbulb but tobacco vaporizes very well and even though smoking tobacco in any way shape or form is not safe, it is most likely "safer" to vaporize it as the chemicals do not vaporize (from what he's read) only the alkaloids in the tobacco. SWIM uses a Vapor Genie vaporizer that he bought from the mysterious world of the internet and it works great for him. He has never tried to break up a cigarette and smoke the tobacco from it through his Vapor Genie as it would probably be pretty nasty, but instead he gets pipe tobacco from a tobacco shop near his house. Pipe tobacco is pretty cheap. He can get some very nice varieties for just a few dollars an ounce (hope this is not considered "price discussion" considering we are talking about tobacco and I never gave a specific amount).
He enjoys the pipe tobacco very much in his vaporizer and it definitely has a better taste rather than burning it. Also SWIM is not trying to promote the Vapor Genie in any way shape or form, it is just the only vaporizer he has experience with.
