finally decided to register - got some Dr. related questions...
So let's say Swim just 'happens' to go see a Doctor either the same day she was smoking with friends, or close enough that she would definitely still have it in her system...
Presumably the Doc would be able to figure it out himself via the visual clues, so do you think he'd think Swim was just out for the prescription or would he likely give her an honest chance? If she's seeing him about pain, and a blood test is done, A-would it even show up in the results? like, if a doc takes a blood sample, is a drug test part of it? then, B- if it does come up, would doc write off the pain as side effects of the drugs even if Swim is pretty sure that's not it and send her on her way? Would he mention the findings to her and ask her about it? and C- she couldn't get into legal trouble from that, could she? (due to doctor/patient confidentiality...?) nor would doc be allowed to tell any family members, right? The thing is, Swim has been dealing with pain in her wrists and elbows that's often so intense that she can't hold her tray at work (waitress), can't open doors, drive, or even change sometimes. She's getting sick of the pain, and wants to both find out what's going on (everyone's guessing carpel tunnel) and get some painkillers for it so she can work again... But she's scared of what might come of it... And then, if it would be too much of a problem, how long should Swim wait before seeing a doctor to be safe? |

Re: finally decided to register - got some Dr. related questions...
i don't think any one except a judge, a PO or someone with legal/judicial authority can order a urine test. Even at methadone or rehab clinics you can say f-it to the tests, you are just removed from the services. i would say that most likely a doctor would not be able to pick up on if a patient was high on marijuana unless showing some blatantly obvious signs. The likely hood that some one would get denied medication based on the information above is virtually nothing.
but if they have deatails omitted, it could be a bit of a different story gmeziscool2354 added 4 Minutes and 37 Seconds later... missed the subject this was in. phenethylamine are not frequently smoked in batmans area. still, the same applies gmeziscool2354 added 0 Minutes and 14 Seconds later... missed the subject this was in. phenethylamine are not frequently smoked in batmans area. still, the same applies Last edited by gmeziscool2354; 13-11-2008 at 11:01.
