Drug info - Concerta 36

Hello everyone,

My goldfish is getting some pills that are Concerta 36 mg. He is not sure if the are extended release or not, but how many should his goldfish take so he is more attentive and mentally aware/motivated for a test?

Would that be enough because my Goldfish does not have ADD, he just wants some extra energy/focus?

The answer obviously depends quite a bit on your tolerance. SWiM remembers giving a stimulant-naive friend two 36 mg concertas one night and it was quickly shown to have been way more than necessary (even for recreational purposes).

Concerta is a specific kinda hi-tech time release formulation of ritalin/methylphenidate which is roughly equivalent to two doses of half the strength of the whole pill taken over an 8-12 hour period. If SWiY thinks that taking 15-20 mg methylphenidate immediate-release would be appropriate, then 36 mg concerta should be fine, as it evens out to approx. the same thing, just longer lasting (closer in effect to taking 16 mg, followed by a 20 mg re-dose a few hours later).

If SWiY has a mild-moderate tolerance to methylphenidate 36 mg ought to suffice quite well.
