Inhaling - Yopo / X-DMT Nasal Spray - And water making yopo snuff more active

Well a Bird came up with this idea:

What if you have pre-prepared yopo snuff, and dissolve this in water or alcohol for some time letting it sit there - with the active alkaloids be extracted into the water / alcohol so that this can be used in a nasal spray for easy and quick administration? Stickin a gram of yopo snuff of my nose is not quite my thing.

Also, I am considering making an extraction with baking soda, citric acid and acetone, and wondered if the remaining crystals can be put in same type of nasal spray bottle for this sort of administration? If so, in what liquid would it be best to dissolve these crystals?

Reason I ask in the first place is that I noticed something - when doing the yopo snuff it did not have much effects, I waited about 5 minutes and nothing, so decided to blow my nose and clean it.. Thats when it happened, when blowing my nose and sticking a paper with water up in my nose I started to trip - so I was thinking that the water must have reacted with the yopo snuff and made it more easily absorbing in the nasal cavities / membranes. I assume this is one of the problems, that all this powder up the nose seriously stucks it up and makes only a small portion in contact with the membranes themselves while the rest is all over the place in big chunks. So, adding some water into the nose after snorting the stuff should/could help with the absorption and make it more active right?

This would definitely address some snuff issues.

For example, swim has BOTH yopo snuff and crystals extracted using the citric acid method. Smoking these crystals apparently is much harder than swim thought. Basically for swim (maybe because they are not that pure or something), swim gets one chance to inhale smoke much hotter than any other smoke he's inhaled. After that, the entire dose turns into ash. Not fun.

Then swim tried snorting these crystals. They're too light. Swim felt them immediately caught in his throat, some of it however, he felt hit his inner nostrils, but swim mostly felt nausea from swallowing the crystals unintentionally.

Alcohol would dissolve the crystals well, but swim isn't sure how bad it hurts to have alcohol in swiy's nose. And even then, this solution would have to be really concentrated, since one or two sprays really isn't that much. Unless swiy can dissolve about 30mg in a bottle, and somehow get about half the bottle into swiy's nose. It'd probably start dripping out by then.

The Bird is trying the citric acid extraction at this moment. He is testing it on a small batch to see how it turns out.

But, basically, the goodies are soluble in alcohol right? SO, if I take my snuff and put it in alcohol and mix it well and let it sit for some days, then strain it, there should be an amount of these alkaloids in the alcohol right? How much are effeciently extracted into alcohol? What other solvents are better?

And, what if you extract say 500mg of x-DMT's, put that in a bottle of alcohol strong enough to dissolve it, and then just enough to make it a strong concentration with as litte alcohol as possible to just get it enough to be liquid and sprayable. Would not this seem like a good way for strong dosages of nasal spray "yopo" ? Then, I suppose, a spray or two with this highly concentrated solution should be enough to deliver a good dose.

Measure out how many sprays are in the nasal spray first and calculate how many mg of goodies you can manage to get into each spray related to the amount total you put in.

Done this with other substances with great success such as cocaine and amphetamines, and even if you have very fine crystals in a very thin powder it is also possible to just add it in probably even water and just shake the bottle each time before use so you get the crystals sprayed in and attached to the membranes in the nose through the liquid spray - which you have problems with when snorting the powder dry.

Baking soda will not work for that extraction. SWIY needs sodium carbonate (or calcium carbonate, or calcium hydroxide). Sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) is not sufficiently alkaline.
