Dose - Fentanyl gel patch made into a snortable powder

Yeah so the other day swim got a gel patch from his friend and put it on. The patch really had no effect on swim. It kinda sucked and disapointed him. He had always heard that fentanyl was stronger than dope and was expecting it to be really good. So after wearing it for about 4 hours swim took it off and went to sleep for the night. The only noticlbe effects being crazy ass dreams. The next morning swim had an idea. He cut open the patch and squeezed all the gel out. He cut it up with flour really good and let it dry out. He snorted a little bit at a time. It had a much more noticable effect than just the patch.

Swim has always heard about fentanyl being sold as fake dope. He was just wondering if this was the way that that is done. If not then what kind of fentanyl is the fake or "P" dope.

It definately wasnt the same feeling as dope and i dont really understand how people would sell it as that.

Swim also heard that you could just let the gell dry out on its own and not use a cut? Is that true?

It's not taken from patches, i imagine most of the fentanyl being sold as heroin will be made in clandestine chemists. As for drying it and mixing it with something, i would urge caution, since fentanyl is deadly in microgram amounts it is possible to get a 'hot spot' in the mix. As for using the dried out powder on its own, that would be difficult since it's such a tiny amount, it is highly recommended that you don't eyeball things such as Research Chemicals where doses are in the milligram range, so forget about micrograms (1000mcg = 1mg).

Fentanyl is extremely dangerous, certainly among the most dangerous prescription drugs that is fairly common, purely because the dose range is in micrograms.

hey there my friend used to get his Fentanyl patches and put them into a milk carton with water then would put it in the microwave for about 3-5 mins piping hot!lol then put it into a cup and drink it or inject it!! it seemed to work on him and he used it as well when he was withdrawing when there wasnt any heroin,

SWIM has played with Fentanyl once, was a duragesic patch as described above, had no effect for first 12 hours or so while it entered SWIMs' body..............

Then gradualy everything went kinda mental, one miniute SWIM felt like he'd been taking MDMA, the next SWIM was waking up in pools of drool. SWIM HAD to take it off after about 24-36 hours.

The thing that scared SWIM the most was the fact that this thing was ment to be on for 3 days. Thinks it was 150mcg/hr flavour.

As advised above, you want to be REALLY careful with this stuff. All the really potent substances seem to have fentanyl in their name. Carfentanyl to name one. Not got a figure off hand but 10mcg can kill an adult rhino. The webpage i saw this on had calculated that 1mcg would wipeout several humans.

ANYTHING measured in mcg wants some respect/reasearch BEFORE SWIY goes anywhere near.

I know this is an old post but it was never really clarified the reason why the poster did not get much effect from the fentanyl patch.

The original poster said that he took the patch off after 4 hours. This is why he did not get much effect from it.

I remember the first time I put a patch on I thought the same thing. I thought, "this stuff is waaaay over rated !!" When I got home, I immediatedly came to this forum and started reading and discovered that it takes a minimum of 12-14 hours before the patch is absorbed into the bloodstream. So I waited.... Like the above poster, it slowly crept up on me like some the best creeper dope you have ever smoked. I could taste it in my mouth.... and it wasn't long before I was like, whooa... this is some strong stuff. At 4 hours I was thinking, this stuff is over-rated. At 18 hours I was thinking, damn, I may need to take this thing off !

So now you know.... It takes a while to get into your bloodstream but when it does, you'll know its there.... Be careful and don't put a patch on if you do not have a really high tolerance to opiates. I do not recommend Fentanyl to be used by anyone that is just wanting to experiment, you can end up dead before you know what hit you.
