Opium Tincture
SWIM was recently prescribed Opium Tincture 10mg/ml morphine. Does anyone know if it is safe to inject and what a good starting dose would be if SWIM takes 4 mg of hydromorphone 3 times a day nasaly?

Opium Tincture? What is this, 1885?

Opium tinctures are made with alcohol, to my knowledge. I don't know about you, but I wouldn't want to put 2-3mL of ethanol directly into my bloodstream.
