Purity - strawberry cocaine?

I had a strange experience several years ago where a friend of mine introduced me to this very sketchy (but clearly very wealthy) dude who produced a stash of strawberry cocaine. He claimed that it was "washed" -- as in purified somehow and that it was inordinately expensive. It was in fact tremendous -- we had at it all night and in the morning I went to work without the side effects I'd come to associate with coming down off cocaine -- my nose was fine, I did not feel jittery at all and I did not experience intense cravings for another line. Yet while we were doing it it was better than any cocaine I had ever done: it was pure powder with a slightly pink tint and a vague aroma of strawberries. He claimed that this was the kind of cocaine that royalty consumed, and that it was the only kind he would touch. Does anyone know what this shit was or where it might have come from (other than his contact in San Francisco)?

Man thats crazy, I wanna try some of that..But no I have never heard of strawberry coke, I have heard that the pink tinted is good, but Ive never seen any.

It might have been mixed with some meth such as ice.Especially if you say there were no jitters,cravings,or comedown. Sounds like BS to me!

Have you ever tried meth before? I'm not talking about crank here,I'm talking about Ice.Meth in it's purest form.Crank is just a bathtub version.With ice,I only had a half gram and was sharing it with 3 other people and I was still speeding 12 hours after my last line.I was up all night and went into work the next morning and I was still feeling great.Not tired one bit and was still feeling the effects.Now if you were an addict I would assume the comedown'sare horrible,but not for a first time user.


There are meth labs all over the west coast.I suspect he just mixed some in with coke and added a strawberry scentto it.The reason it was so expensive is because the price for meth is outragous compared to coke.That's why the price was so jacked up.Did it burn at all when snorted?

no, I'm sure it wasn't meth at all -- I got quite sleepy within about an hour of my 6 am departure, he actually spotted me a little bit to get me through the work day. I didn't feel strung-out, my nose felt perfeclty normal (not numb, not snotty) and I slept very easily when I got home. Other theories?

and by the way, not two months before I had developed a vacation-time habit while in Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica, where it's cheap but fairly cut with whatever shit it gets cut with.

maybee it wasn't coke at all, but some other stimulant? or maybee it was nothing but a placebo and you thoughtyou felt great cause you thought you were doing coke? some studies have shown that just thinking about specific substances can create a feeling similar to the one the substance produces... just a thought not trying to be patronizing.

Nah ice, i dont think you can mentally reproduce a feeling as intense as being high on coke... hell, half the time when i'm actually high on coke i'm thinking that i'm not high (or at least not high enough!)

snthetic coke has no "high" only locla anesthetic effects


it's the other alkoloids in the natural coke that gets you off


when it is pink or whatever color it often means when it was acidized--aa any powder coke is actually cocaine hydrochloride--they used an indicator solution instead of ph paper or tester or titration to acidize the coke


and ph indicators have distinct colors to indicate the ph


oftentimes a mild acid indiator is pink to red incolor and stays with the product--makes for a nice trademark too

When I read this post by Corvad; I was very skeptical. however he is
100% correct. I don't know the price and royalty stuff but I just had
some in Mexico while on business. No BS, it was coke and it had light
strawbery color</span> and
smell. I couldn't believe it and would have never snorted it if I
hadn't read this post. It was the best I have ever had. This was the
night before we were leaving so I couldn't get the cost and
availability, but I am going back very soon. Will keep you fellows
posted.

The only thing i can think of is that it could have been 'pink champagne' speed, which i have had a couple of times, mixed with coke. Or it could just have been 'bolivian marching powder' mixed with pink food colouring to try and scam the poor rich dude out of some money! Could it possibly have been something to do with the manufacturing process? You know like the way you can have 2c-b hcl or hbr salts?


I could be (and probably am) going the complete wrong direction with this tho!

If this story is indeed true, than I would say it was actually some amphetamine, maybe even MDMA. The fact he got tired after 1 hour though???

swim had pink speed before at a house party, he said it was really good, be swim had done 1 1/2 xtc's, lots off weed and some mushrooms. this pink speed kept swim going until 11:30 the next day. swims night was good.

If there was no comedown, I seriously doubt that it was cocaine. I read
an article talking about cocaine analogs that were suposed to be very
similiar in effect to cocaine. They said some where even stronger than
cocaine. Its highly possible that this strawberry cocaine is just a
cocaine analog.

or just some regular coke that was really good, and possible had some
sort of flavoring added to it. I doubt it was meth or anything
else if you god tired after an hour.

id definatly say it was cut with meth, its quite a commen substance for a cut since it wont take away from the jacked uphigh, and the shit is so damn cheap to make,.

hey everyone out there look up lavado in the search engine and you'll find that there isn't just strawberry but all sorts of flavors. we wash it here in mexico hence LAVADO: the past tense verb of the word wash as in i washed this fucking coke or this coke is fuckingwashed


when applied to cocaine it can also be used as a proper noun


as in hey give me some of that really fucking good washed.


or in spanish it sounds sort of like this

sorry for digging up this very very old topic, but i couldn't resist replying because alot of unintentional misinformation is gathered.

Deckstruck actually did reply but not in great detail.

Ok thing is this, cocaine in the street is its hydrochloride salt form. It is made by adding hydrochloric acid to the base in an ether solution. When one adds the hcl acid crystalls start to form and percipitate.

If the crystallization is done properly and the crystall structure is large enough one could add some artificiall flavoring that will get traped in the crystals giving color and taste to cocaine.

this is indeed the cocaine rich people use, but it CAN be made by anyone, its not that hard.

get some good cocaine, do a "lavado" wash (deckstruck has described it). Recrystalize it out of absolute methanol adding some flavouring and you'll see what its all about. Cocaine became famous for one main reason : It has NO IMEDIATE drawbacks. Good cocaine wont make you jittery, wont get you craving for more, wont crash you, wont let you up all night feeling misserable and unable to sleep.

THATS good cocaine, thats what actors buy, not the street crap everyone else (obviously non in this forum, non of us does drugs!) uses. Cocaine can mess up your life, really mess it up. Persicely because the negative effects are apparent ONLY when you are neck deep in it (figuratevly and litteraly)
