Drug info - 5-MeO-DMT, 4-ho-dipt, 4-AcO-DIPT and DMT: differences?

i hope this one is the right forum, was also thinking about the RC forum, however, since my question deals with DMT and its effects i posted it hear

SWIM heard of a substance called 5-MeO-DMT which he could acquire. Now he is wondering what the effects are like, and especially how they are in comparison to DMT..

He plans on smoking it

he is aslo intrigued by 4-ho-dipt because of its short duration

btw if anyone has infos on 4-AcO-DIPT, pleas let me know, couldnt find too much about it.

SWIM also kinda wants a "mild" DMT derivate, which one would it be? is MIPT also worth considering?

5-meo-dmt is certainly not DMT-lite. If anything, it's DMT-heavy. Bigger rush, quicker, more confusing, less visuals (for SWIM at least).

The rest provide effects vaguely similar to, but nothing truely alike DMT. 4-*-dipt is nice, but is in a completely different league. Short duration oral means a few hours, versus short duration smoked which is minutes.

how is 4-...DIPT in a different league? also effect-wise?

5-meo-dmt, by chemical structure and physical effects, is closest. If you're looking for a way to avoid the extraction process then you're out of luck - it really isn't that much like DMT or nearly as worthwhile IMHO.

4-*-dipt is completely different - you take it orally for one, it takes far longer... more of a "classic" psychedelic experience than the wild transportation of DMT.

Is SWIY unable to extract DMT? This is the easiest approach IMHO.

nah he would be.. but he doesnt plan on doing it soon an now could find some other stuff somewhere else, like the beforementioned substances. its not supposed to be a substitute in that wy, but some of the ones on his list are just like psilocybin or very similar, thats why he wont get that...
others are just opitcal or just audio changing.. or just sexual..
he wants to go for rather short, rather smokeable and ratehr similar to dmt or at least not stronger than dmt, as he read in "breakin open the head" of this one (or few) dmt derivates that are kinda "dark" and "evil" and thats def. not what he wants to go for!

Short and smokeable? Hrm, DMT is about it frankly. 5-meo-dmt definitely has a bit of an edge to it.

I'd say SWIY is out of luck unless he wants to do an extraction - there is really nothing else comparable, and that's the beauty of DMT.
