Effects - Is SWIM's cannabis laced??

Okay so SWIM got a half ounce of weed, not the greatest looking weed, mostly top buds and shake. Anyways the weed doesn't really smell like weed, it does but it's a very faint smell but it does smell a bit like weed.

Someone said, "When I smoke it it gives me a different high then im used too, it gives me more of a head feeling high and instead of making me relaxed I feel energetic and focused.

But one night I smoked a bunch of said weed, I felt alright to begin with, and then I got a huge headrush, I had a lot of energy and I felt kinda funny. I tried to go to sleep but I couldnt at all. I ended up never falling asleep and staying up for 2 days straight and having to go to school at 11am. "

So SWIM texted dealer and asked what was up with the weed, SWIY claims that he had no complaints and that it may be getting moldy. So the question is. Is this just moldy weed? Or is it laced with something? Ive heard of dealers lacing it with Meth and thats what I fear has happened. But SWIM knows this dealer and trusts him pretty well.

Any ideas?

If said weed is indeed laced, its not likely with meth, as SWiY would almost certainly be able to taste it. It would as certainly The description of a 'head high' sounds a bit like just a good sativa. My suggestion would be to check out Erowid reports for PCP, as that's pretty much the only adulterant of which there have been a substantial number of confirmed reports. Very, very little else would make any financial sense.

I'm personally always a bit skeptical about reports of weed adulteration, as it doesn't seem to make financial sense (i.e., selling what is essentially two products for the price of one). Plus, that's a great way to fuck up your reputation: pass off a potentially very harmful product as a benign one...

The thing is, if this weed is moldy, Ive read that smoking modly weed can kill you. Which is why SWIM just threw the weed in the garbage, it had spots of orange on it.

And does some types of weed normally give SWIY a headrush and keep them awake for 2 days straight??

As for your question, it is VERY uncommon for anyone to lace weed. Why would anyone want to waste their drugs by putting them on weed and then selling them without the purchaser knowing? It just doesn't make sense. If for some reason it was meth you would know because meth is flammable. My guess is that either the weird feelings you were getting were from something totally unrelated or that there was some kind of chemical on the weed to disguise the smell that gave you a slight form poisoning or something or maybe even the mold? I am really not sure what else it could be being laced without you knowing and sold for the same price (I'm guessing it was) is probably the least likely scenario.

mold usually isn't orange, it's white. Weed very often is orange. It's a sign of decent quality bud. It's just a strain that SWIY wasn't used to and it probably freaked him out a bit. Like the other poster mentioned, the difference between a sativa and an indica.

Okay thanks alot for the posts guys, SWIM was freaking out thinking SWIM was doing meth lol he even started bitching at his dealer. K well SWIMs gunna try and get some normal high quality bud next time though.

Best thing to do would have been to just role with the high.

Swim would have immerse his weed in water (if extremely paranoid, to remove contaminants), allowing to dry long enough to then be able to be put it in oil at low temperature (google it) for 15-20 minutes. Remove now browny plant material and separate oil.

Proceed to make some weed butter/brownies.

If anything on swiys batch, it stayed with the water (if done), stayed in the plant material, metabolized after being exposed to heat, or simply the contaminant won't be effectively ingested (if at all), and if it is, the dose you could have taken is depreciable. (unless Swim eats all 12 brownies and his weed happened to be lazed with aresenic).

Anyway, I also agree that it is unlikely that it was laced, because it is just not cost-effective.

If worried, Swiy could wash the weed with water/recure with water (info's here on the forum about this method)

Swiy would know if they were smoking meth, haha. Orange hairs are always on Swim's weed. It's the only common color of hairs here.

Also Swiys dealer isnt liklely to just give away free drugs, maybe it would be laced if you had to pay extra but im sure it isnt, no such thing as free drugs

It was probably just shake it gives you a head rush and often light headed and it is very harsh. Often gives a different high.
