Opinions - Curing Oxycontin Nausea

so last night i bought an 80mg oxy cotton, i split it into three quarters..I crushed up the pill into poweder, licked it off the cd case and then chased it with some juice..basically everytime i do OC..about an hour after i take it i get a very sick feeling and almost usually always vomit. it makes me feel like i just wasted all my money, just going and puking out the powder..Anyways, each time i've done it..its been on an empty stomach. is this why? if not, how can i stop the nausea?If i have food in my stomach before i do some Oxy will it make my high less strong?( like the pill sopping into the food)Please help..i have about 20mg left of this oxy and really dont want to waste it like the other quarters have been wasted.

You need to go back and re-read the rules as you are in violation of them. Pay special attention to the one regarding self-incrimination. The rules can be found in my signature.

Opiates make some people physically ill, especially the first few times. A therapeutic dose of dramamine or meclizine might help. Or you could smoke a little bowl. Eating the Oxycontin on a full stomach would slow down the absorbtion of the oxycodone significantly and probably ruin the high. It could be that your stomach just can't handle all that raw chemical at once so snorting it might help but I doubt it as some people get sick from opiates no matter what method of administration they use.

I suggest a combination of things:

1.) Before taking the oxy, take some Benadryl or Dramamine (diphenhydramine or dimenhydrinate, although IMO dimenhydrinate is far inferior due to the added stimulant). I suggest taking it about 20-30 minutes before ingesting the oxy.

2.) A couple minutes before you pop the pill, try eating a few bites or a small meal. It will slow absorbtion slightly, but eliminates most digestive problems for me.

3.) Right after you take the oxy, smoke a small bowl of weed.

These together not only potentiate the oxy (1 & 3) but also reduce nausea to nil for me. In addition, you might try eating some ginger, which is known to cure or at least alleviate most nausea.

Does SWIyou hav a tolerance to Oxycontin?
If not SWIyou should not be taking 80mg crushed in 1 dose, this is way 2 much & could be dangerous.
This would be the only reason SWIM could think of because 80 mg is a huge dose, especially for sum1 without a tolerance. Start with 10-20mg at a time. If nausea is still an issue try insufflating a low dose, (+- depending on tolerance) 5-10mg, because it will be more intense but may not cause nausea. Always remember: oxycodone is a very potent opiate & has the potential to kill you. Be careful

what do you use for a regular stomach ache? TUMS!!!!!!!! swim never takes any opiates without a pocket full of tums. take 2-3 1/2 before dosing, 1 after dosing, and another whenever you get a little sick. Plus it potenates perty well. And try not to have anything acidic in your stomach like applejuice. Swim made that nasty mistake and puked (for the second time out of a houndred) and got a short buzz.

One way to eliminate nausea all together is to plug the pills. Crush them up, mix them with some warm water (try to use as little as possible), fill up a syringe with a plastic or rubber tip, and squirt the mixture up your butt. I know it sounds gross and slightly homosexual but doing it this way eliminates nausea, you don't have to have an empty stomach, and best of all, 10% more of the drug is metabolized compared to taking it orally. IT also hit you a lot faster (in about 10 mins)
