SWIPA is a poppy addict. When he makes his pod tea he saves all of his stems in case times get rough. He has never actually tried to make a cup from just the stems and/or knobs. From what he understands is that the knobs and the first 2 or 3 inches closest to the pod do contain small amounts of alkaloids since they kind of run down the stem just a little.
Times are not hard for SWIPA right now but he was wondering if SWI you guys has had any success in making some tea from just the stems and/or knobs. If so, approx. how many stems were used and what is SWIY's tolerance like? As I said before I believe only the first few inches contain any alkaloids so I guess it doesn't really matter what size stems they are. Another thing I am curious about is has anyone ever used them just to try to interrupt withdrawals and did it work? Thanks in advance. |

Re: Any Swimmers made a successful tea using only stems and knobs?
Oh yes, SWIM had success with stems and "knobs" only this week. He ground up about 60g of knobs and stems, made tea the usual way and got good results. Certainly helped swim stave off withdrawals to fight another day.
He had better results with the stems and knobs than he did with the 600g of seeds he had been saving up, much better. So yeah, deffo good to save them up for when times are tough says swim. |
