Comedown - Weird withdrawal..?

So for the past few months swim has kept her use to less than once a week, and has managed to avoid withdrawals all together while still getting high on very little. This system was working great, just getting high for a night or two and then stopping and craving a little but still feeling physically fine. However, this weekend swim used one and a half bags (usual) of good H late friday early saturday and was high pretty well into saturday. Sunday swim was fine. Monday afternoon swim felt kind of crappy but not terrible. By monday night swim was having HORRIBLE withdrawals that lasted well into tuesday night (still managed to vote though ). Anyway, why did this happen out of the blue? Swim has some money this weekend and was looking forward to a little fun, but is bugging she will have to go back to school on monday kicking.

SWIMs take on this was that it was not withdrawal you were experiencing. Especially if the last time SWIY used was 2 and a half weeks before.

Is it possible SWIY could have just be been ill? Have SWIY experienced withdrawal before?

Swim has been through withdrawal many times before...obviously this time wasn't as intense or as long lasting as when swim was using constantly, but it definitely was withdrawal. Nothing else feels quite like that...

Stronger gear? Different administration route? Building up a gradual habit(and so many people go from using once weekly to more for the slight 'blues'). Receptor downgrade is VERY complicated and the gear your getting is not exactly pharma quality and cut with... well probably better you don't know.

Take this as a warning sign and if I was you I would not use for 2/3 weeks. Most people I know would consider that using even every 7 days builds a tolerance so therefore a withdrawal.

Seriously don't be like SWIM and not take those early warning signs seriously to get a full habit.... unless you like slowly losing your friends replacing them with junkie friends, they just 'appear' from nowhere it seems(at this time your g/f will leave unless their a junkie... don't worry plenty of them around who also)who just love you to spend all your money till your down to selling your last few possesions and borrowing off family, you'd have been sacked for being stoned probably, when the money has altogtether gone then everyone will split (until you get more money) by which time your family will be probably sick off you and it sucks losing that and you have nothing and no-one except a real nasty habit that needs money which you don't have so whatcha got left to sell? Your body, trust SWIM, it don't matter how 'straight' you think you are, you will either suck dick(no shame, SWIM did in those days and more and made good money for a male rentboy, but it helps I swing that away although not much when at first I worked the private saunas with those fat old boys). Of course SWIM had been IVing for a while and some people did not like the track marks but SWIM ran out of veins and started going in his groin(using 1.5 21g needles...) before H SWIM was afraid of needles but did anabolic steroids, before them he had a phobia. Most junkies with bad veins will end up going in the groin SWIM had trouble getting sexual partners after the groin injecting left SWIM with holes oozing puss and scares, years later permanent pain and reduced mobility still SWIM has both legs unlike MANY SWIMS who lose them injecting here(rather than be sick you'll inject it to get the most milage... believe me ANYWHERE) or you will start commiting crime, some of SWIMS junky friends did that, some got killed and no-one gave a shit in selling drugs for gangs or ripped of old women, did whatever and are stuck into crime/drugs now... yeah well SWIM may have sucked dick but I never robbed anyone who never had it coming and especially no old women, and never got into crime other than a short time for dealing some 'low' grade drugs and learnt lesson and never went back. In any case you may be getting heat from the cops and once they know your on the scene it's open season. If your a junkie forget any rights. SWIM was lucky and got off Methadone.... SWIM really got sick of the sex/clubs/drugs scene and SWIM was by SOHO standards VERY GOOD with own flat, own partner(also junkie prostitue), worked for himself from magazine and paper ads after a few years it eats at your soul if you have one left, SWIM has seen 1 Amsterdam rent boy loose it through that scene and jump outa a 20th story window. for a while SWIM was clean SWIM is stupid and got on again. First time SWIM was taken in my mother after promising to stop 200mls of IV Methadone, Dexadrine, Rohypnol, Valium dead.... was the worst hell but SWIM went through another bad detox before realising that it's to in his system. Sad thing is SWIM got his nursing degree when clean and was going to work on doing medicine but even being a clean addict(on MMT) stop's SWIM working most places in the health industry. SWIM is older and lost lots of looks now but scrapes a living doing shitty work when SWIM can get it. SWIM is on Methadone maintence and will be for life.... SWIM cannot believe that before he got to fond of Codeine and only tried H a few times and liked it but no would never get hooked.... everyone said stop, SWIM had a future and would do well. SWIM had a small business but lost that when H took over(slowly happened) and lost 4 bedroom house he had saved up for, lost his nice new car, to this day lost half of family, lost decent partner(SWIM is bi-sexual but was pretty serious with a couple of girls as life is less hassle straight... unfortuanetly) SWIM has partner but thinks of what may have been(SWIM and them fight a lot). The few that knew also knew that SWIM was smart but knew that this drug works slowly and SWIM knew better then people who had gone through hell themselves saying they lacked discipline or lifes.... they once had these things but some had lost their lives a long time ago. Now SWIM is telling you to please take these W/D's fucking serious as this was when it went bad for SWIM, when after a few times of light W/D after occasional use SWIM said WTF and took more. SWIM has spoken over the years to SO MANY others who started out like this.

So, again, please take SWIM serious and many others will say same, take these W/D's seriously as this is when the trouble is starting.... or mebee you will take more too get the same effect. Either way tolerance is the sign to stop(but SWIM thinks thats not gonna happen) or at least reduce your dosing DRASTICALLY. Do what SWIM should have done, take more club drugs to get high... and listen to those people SWIM should have but looked down on becuase SWIM thought SWIM was smarter, stronger and would not make these mistakes.

Trust me swim has already been through the nasty habit part of heroin addiction. Lucky it never got to the point where swim had to sell her body for money (mainly thanks to having a job from the age of 14 that I had saved every penny from, and right when that ran out a hefty settlement from being attacked by a neighbors dog at a young age that swim suddenly became entitled to at 18). Luckily after about a year of nearly everyday use from the first time swim tried H swim got arrested on charges of selling marijuana and to avoid jail time went to rehab. Since swim was still an "A" student in high school at the time they would not send her to inpatient and so she was able to fake her entire way through rehab...got out and still used for a few months before deciding to clean up on her own. Took many many tries and weeks of sickness but finally managed. This was maybe may of 2007. Swim has been pretty good since then...used briefly for about two weeks in august '07 before leaving for college and then for about a week straight the following march since she was home for spring break. Since movig back that may (and transfering to a new college much closer to home in the fall), swim has only used about once every 2 to 3 weeks. Thats why it was so strange to withdraw suddenly like that as I have been using only every few weeks since the start of the summer and that hadn't happened at all.

i dont know much, but i think its because you are aware of the withdrawals, you're feeling them more.

i remember first smoking few years back and not being aware of the withdrawals and so didnt feel them. Not that im aware of them, i feel them in the morning after smoking!

Hmm SWIM is perplexed. The only thing SWIM can say is that one time he thought he was in withdrawals. His brother came home with some dope, and after doing it he realized he wasn't in withdrawals but really just had a really bad flu. 12 hours of laying in the shower floor later, SWIM was up and about, doing H. The weird thing was while he had the flu, he didn't want to do H at all even though he had a huge plate sitting in front of him on the toilet - maybe it would have made him feel better, but he really just didn't want it while he was sick.

The only thing SWIM can say is maybe if you would have done a little dope (or do some next time, if there is a next time), you'll find out which it is.

Are you sure swiy didnt have a dirty hit? swim has had dirty hits which made him feel like he was rattling and wouldnt go away no matter how much more he took, had to let it run its course an it was gone next day
