Lucid Absinthe

So the first and most common absinthe in the U.S. since the legalization is called Lucid. Contains wormwood and traditional herbs, imported from France.

Swim tried it today two shot glasses filled, then poured into a cup, cold water added over the spoon and sugar cube. The drink changed in color as expected. As for the effects swim told me it was quite different than plain alcohol. The effects were not traditionaly hallucinogenic but there was something there. The effects were more body and mind, not visual. Swim claims this to be not placebo however if you go into drinking this substance with the myths in mind you will be greatly dissapointed. Swim went into the experience expecting only the alcohol effect and was pleasantly surprised.

Has anyone else tried this product and could give their thought or experiences?

Re: Lucid Absinthe

SWIM has tried the same product and just found it to be a high proof alcoholic bev. It might have felt a LITTLE different from normal alc, but it also could have been the cannabis.

Re: Lucid Absinthe

Swim recently saw this liquor at his local store and was very excited, but heard that it wasn't any different than getting completely shitfaced drunk. Swim also noticed that it was sort of expensive, and would rather put money down on a nice bottle of scotch. Swim is still interested in hearing other peoples experiences, if anyone gives it a shot. Will be watching this thread!
