What is the LONGEST time you have gone without sleep

Three days for me. Withdrawing from Darvocet, Tramadol and Codeine. Wasn't a particularly happy point in SWIM's life.

Swim's going to attempt a couple days with no, or very little sleep. the first day aderall helped, but not neccisary, yet.
So far swim's at two days, 1.5hrs of sleep.

Day one- 80mg of aderall througout the day, started writing a book Swim's been planning on, and got 18 pages done in 4-5 hrs. Accidently fell asleep, but only for an hour

Day two- 30mg of aderall durring the day, no noteable effects, maby heart rate. Nothing but the caffeine from iced tea that night. Only got 3 pages of the book done in 2-3 hours. In the dark swim had bad depth perception and saw a shadow figgure behind him as he walked into his room. The computer screen had these microbe looking things swirling about and a puffer fish was "dancing", while a spot on the wall was swinging around and a mario style mushroom was bobbing its head. Then the walls started to form strange pattern style visuals, a lot like the computer screen. Not really that outstanding, and then again accidentally fell asleep for a half hour around 4am, then for another hour at 5.

Day Three- feeling awake as swim would normally, and only felt tired around 9 am. This is where swim's at now, and will keep things updated.

You'll be amazed what a difference this will have made, if your very tired the sleep you get will nearly instantly go to REM sleep, and you will get very deep sleep very quickly. You can probably add an extra day to the usual effects because of this little nap. When your really tired this is why you hallucinate, your start to get REM brain waves even when your awake.

SWiM started seeing things that scared him towards the end of the last day.

Kit has been up a long, long time during amphetamine use.

Kit remembers two weekends passing, and ended up in the local police station a heartbeat from a psychiatric hospital, suffering from amphetamine psychosis.

Kit had been on a challenge of self marathon, but gladly was able to tell the police psychiatrist that she was psychotic, due to lack of sleep and dehydration through amphetamine use.

Total time span? In hindsight impossible to say that Kit had not 'slept' at some point.

Swim has gone six nights without sleep on more than one occasion.
She has found herself falling asleep while standing in the kitchen making a cup of tea.One time this happened she found the sense to go straight to bed,obviously expecting to fall into a good long sleep.
Swim has friends who sleep for 2 sometimes 3 days after after a few days up.But alas its not the case with swim & on the above occasion she was awake again after just 10 minutes!The rest of the night was spent in short periods of sleep & longer periods of being awake.
Swims an insomniac (if swiys hadn`t already guessed )& its a rare luxury for her to ever sleep for more than 4 hours - frequently less.
So swims used to very little sleep & has never felt in any danger from amphetamine psychosis.,though she`s seen it in others.
Swim decided she was being decidedly silly staying up till she was literally falling asleep on her feet & no longer stays up for longer than 3 or occasionally maybe 4 nights.She`s not as young as she used to be!

5 days. Not by choice and SWIM's mind was NOT in a good place by the end of that time.

Atm, it's common for SWIM to sleep about a broken 4-5 hours every other day during the week. And then crash on the weekend IF SWIM has the opportunity. SWIM doesn't always get that opportunity.

Wheee! Who needs drugs? Go to med school instead. The stress, pressure, and sleep dep rule.

once upon a time in highschool swim was prescribed 30mg adderall XRs. He had not been taking taking his meds as mommy and the doctor told him to. for about a month and a half SWIM stashed his addys in the dresser, then mommy went out of town for a week so SWIM engaged in what he percieved to be "fun" at the time. SWIM would take addys every couple of hours in various methods; swallowing pills, swallowing the pellets, crushing pellets, mixing with water & drinking, crushing/snorting, snorting the pelletts,etc.. SWIM did not have work for the first 4 days, which all ran together. SWIM intended to sleep before work at KFC commenced, but never fell asleep, so on the 5th day took more addys before & at work to prevent crashing. SWIM enjoyed being semi-euphoric at work so continued for the remaining 2 days at home and at work. SWIM discontinued the adderall and crashed a few hrs before parents arrived home & slept for an unknown number of hours (estimated 4-12hrs). Very odd sleep. It was only "half sleep" where SWIM percieved himself to still be awake (and still is not sure whether he was ever really asleep). When SWIM got up he still felt very tired. SWIM went to work and school but could not sleep that night nor the following night despite the fact that he had not had adderall in ~50+hrs. So, in retrospect it is likely that swim spent 10 days awake. On day 6 SWIM was attacked by a large vampire bat that had been sunbathing under the heatlamps at work. Sightings of the bat were not confirmed by other employees. on day 7 swim saw an intruder crawl under his garage door as he was pulling into the driveway. Physical evidence of B&E was not present, nor was the intruder upon investigation. After day 5 there was not a time when there was not something sinister moving ever-so-slightly in SWIM's peripheral vision, only to disappear when viewed straight-on, and the walls were waving most of the time.

2 legal high pills of: London Underground Neuro Blast 3.1, once.

Swim once went to two back to back Moe. shows, and took a few pills and kept re-taking to keep it going strong for both days. He couldn't sleep the third night and neither could the kids he was with for the weekend so they didn't and kept going. He passed out about nine am the fourth days morning. Long weekend. Worth it.

The first night they went to a private beach at three am. They chilled in the lifeguard chairs staring up at a clear sky when they were redosing. They took a couple canoes out to the center of the bay for a better view. They upgraded that canoe to the yachts that were anchored about two hundred feet out.

One of his friends stole a fire extinguisher as a souvenir and woke up the rest of the kids they went with with it at the crack of dawn.

45+ days SWIM stayed awake one time. Lot's of cheap, pure, readily available methamphetamine was the reason for this. He was using upwards of an oz. a day towards the end of that binge!! WAYYYY CRAZY psychosis involving multiple "voices" or personalities manifesting into SWIM reality and causing all sorts of havoc. SWIM's PO made hime check into a detox after he wrecked his car on the freeway (nodding on morphine he just added to his regemine). He slept the entire 7 days. SWIM seen and felt the craziest stuff that binge!!!! Stuff he can't fully explain or understand. Like watching the sun in fast motion (2 days passed by in what seemed like seconds!!!!!) The list goes on, SWIM is surprised he survived that experience!!!!

45 days without sleep? SWIY should be dead. I do not believe it was 45 days without any sleep whatsoever.

I think two full nights without sleep is my maximum ever. I just couldn't sleep one night and my "second wind" arrived late so I was up the next night too. Sleep deprivation is absolute torture.

Its physically impossible for anyone to stay up 45 days. Even Keith Richards only got to 9, and he's like god or something.

Did 4 days, 3 nights on coke and speed, and acid the first day of it - fucked up! Kind of fun, brain became complete mush to where I was a giggling idiot who would urinate on anything. Can't be good for you though, probably causes signficant long term damage, more than most druggie events.

It is not impossible to stay up 45 days, SWIM did it. SWIM also stayed up 30+ days on multiple occasions (amphetamine psychosis was SWIM's favorite passtime). Its impossible to say awake for 45 days. Its impossible to stay awake for 30 days. It is possible to believe you did (psychosis, dementia, self-gullibility, intoxication, hypnosis, torture, turbo-acid).

It really makes SWIM mad when SWIY trys to talk about stuff SWIY has no idea about... Ya it's real 45+!!! Not a mind trick, though SWIM was in deep psychosis. SWIM knows it is unlikly for the average SWIMMER to reach even 14 days, but SWIM had lots and lots and lots of very very very cheap , super pure meth (super mad cheap). And SWIM also was tryin to kill himself with meth (wouldn't work), so he tried to see how insane he could get. SWIM is a very determined cat, and will accomplish ANYTHING he desires (including 45+)!

SWIM is used to cats not believing him about this (one rumor is that you a clinically [not technically] dead at 30+). SWIM has heard it all. SWIM will no longer try to convince the cats out there, just trust him.

If you were in psychosis then maybe you slept wihout remembering it as in psychosis you may not remember all what you have done or that have been happened.

I think for SWIM, going through forced oxy WDs, she went about 6 days with no sleep and then an additional 6-7 with 30 min/night if she was lucky. Parents dragged her to the doctor and demanded she be given sleep meds.

Since, she's constantly dealing with chronic insomnia. Goes for weeks with 1-2 hours per night if she's lucky. And that's with 2 sleep meds.

This isn't me, but my pet rock stayed up for 4days straight, with only proplus, coffee, and spliff to keep me awake. (Ironic that spliff helped my rock stay awake).

SWIM's longest time awake wasn't even drug induced. SWIM's record was 3 1/2 days (without even caffeine) just kept having things to go do and SWIM didn't want to sleep. Longest time SWIM was awake drug induced was a little under a 72 hour period.
