EU - Questionnaire for any member of an organisation representing drug users

If you belong to an organisation of people who represents the interests of the users of illicit drugs, please consider to fill in the following questionnaire and send it to info@encod.org

You are wellcome to spread it out to other organisations as well.

QUESTIONNAIRE

We call upon all organisations that represent consumers of illicit drugs to fill out the following questionnaire.

This questionnaire forms part of a research on the participation of drug consumers organisations in the design of drug policies in Europe.

This research also includes a workshop <http://www.encod.org/info/DRUGS-AND-DIPLOMACY.html> (http://www.encod.org/info/DRUGS-AND-DIPLOMACY.html) that will take place from 21 to 23 November 2008 in Vitoria, Basque Country, Spain.

/What reasons have caused your organisation to start working in political lobby?/

/Did you get any type of training on how to carry out political lobby activities? Who has given you this training? Who has financed this training? /

* 3. Experiences with consultation/dialogue with authorities *

Have you ever participated in a consultation/dialogue with authorities responsible for drug policies in your region/country?

/Was this a physical encounter or through Internet?/

/Was it a formal or informal consultation?/

/Was it a one time occasion or a series of events (how long time?)?/

/Was the consultation related to a particular decision or did it take place within a general debate?/

/Did the consultation occur because of an initiative taken by the administration or did the initiative come from you? /

/How do you consider your general experiences with the participation in consultations/dialogue?/

/Have you experienced a difference in the behaviour/attitude of authorities who are responsible for drug policies before and after the consultation?/

OH is correct in his reading of the above post. The points made by bennett and robin have been noted, but they have been removed as it would not be beneficial to deter anyone who may be eligible from responding.

There is no problem with the post. This is not requesting individual persons (as DF members) to give their experiences, but rather members of organisations who represent the interests of drug users who may read these boards. The questionnaire would be filled out in that capacity and not as a member of Drugs Forum. Please feel free to respond if you are a member of any such organisation, but as a member of that organisation and not a member of this forum.
