Vaporizing - Can Virola resin be smoked?

swim is intrigued with this resin. can it be smoked/evaporated? SWIm has a small crack-pipe like pipe that should do it.. is it active like that?

From what I understand it can be smoked after freebased with lime (4:1)
Vaporizing would be best. There are simple ways to do this. My guess is a pipe that contains heat well might work.

I'm not sure about the difference between these two. I assume they have similar contents, but Virola theiodora was more popular within native indian tribes. SWIM just purchased 3grams of the Virola theiodora resin.
The reason you add lime is to freebase the salt 5-MeO-DMT, N,N-DMT, and Bufotenin...therefore this must be done before smoking. The 5-MeO-DMT in Virola is in salt form. When snorting 5-MeO-DMT you should also freebase it, this is what the tribes frequently did. It passes to the bloodstream much better. Freebasing is done best by mixing Calcium Hydroxide (Edible Lime, you can buy this online) 20% with 80% resin material. When sublingually obsorbing Virola resin, I believe it mixes with salvia and can be obsorbed as-is (salt form). I'll let you know how SWIM's sublingual tests go, within a week.

Yes. SWIM successfully smoked freebased (resin 4:1 lime) Virola resin in a light bulb vaporizer. He had a pleasant trip with a heightened consciousness. He vaped .2g of virola resin two times, within the same 15 minutes. He also snuffed alot of freebase resin between (about .5g). Although he didn't really have visuals, a dreamy state of mind was achieved. He had fun and it lasted a good half hour.

5-MeO-DMT doesn't produce much visuals. If you want visuals, you want either DMT or 5-HO-DMT.

SWIM uses the resin sublingually AS IS and has very good effects from it that way. He likes 150 mg. It’s very nice. He also likes it with tetrahydroharmine. It makes the 5-MeO-DMT last 3 times longer.

swim will try sublingually but feares that his resin is bad quality, as smoked 200mg was kinda harsh to smoke and he didnt notice any effects at all, however, he didnt smoke it properly

The resin loses potency over time. It might just be old.

What about MHRB resins/alkaloidal extracts? Swim has 12g made from 56g of MHRB using sodium carb and acetone, but Swim ended up having to rush the end and not wash again. Now, Swim's afraid of washing the 12g and losing everything and does not know the best way to wash. The DMT's been freebased already.

no, the virola desin is the resin scraped out of the bark

SWIM tried smoking a little less than a gram of this resin when it arrived. He wouldn't even call it a trip. Disappointing strength.

I don't think Anadenanthera bark resin would contain much 5-HO-DMT, probably no 5-MeO-DMT. I've heard they use the seed pods as snuff tho.
