Side effects - Worst stomach ache of my life...

Ill preface this by saying I am an opiate user and have used just about every kind in the book (including blowing Heroin). Anyway, the other night I was offered a 100mg morphine which I had actually never done before as I had heard several different good and bad thoughts about it. Anyway, I took half and so did my friend who had used it on several occasions. bout 40 minutes after I swallowed it up I could feel the effects, but it wasnt like any other pill I had done. About 30 more minutes passed my stomach begin to cramp and I basically had the worst stomach ache of my life (worse than an infected gal bladder which I had surgery for in 2005) for about the next 2 hours. I had a small amount of food in my stomach and I have a fairly high tolerance but we couldn't figure out what was causing it. My friend on the other hand felt fine and was pretty high and feeling great. I ate a couple french fries and drank a sprite which helped a little but soon after the pain came back until I toked up which really helped me relax and forget about it.

Any ideas what might have caused this? Or has anyone heard of this ever happening? Thoughts, comments and opinions are appreciated.

Taking morphine orally has got a very bad track record. That's why they developed codeine. Morphine is designed to be injected, not swallowed. The stomach ache isn't massively surprising. Just a common side effect.

drink more H2O, swim had tha same prob with liquid morph

try plugging next time, its got a higher bio-availability than oral and hits you faster, and may help not get stomache pains... worth a shot... no pun intended
