Please Help.. Salvia On The Dr Phil Show

The Dr Phil show is having a show on Salvia in November. This is BAD. Dr Phil has a very large audience, and the show is very likely going to be highly negative. Probably all about kids going out and getting a hold of it, doing it, and then doing stupid stuff.

We need to make sure this show either:
a) does not air
b) air's with an unbiased viewpoint

I clicked on "feedback and help", and then clicked on "talk about the show", and posted my message (which you can read here, I am using the username falkenjeff http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http...30662/#1030662 ).

Make sure that your messages are clear and informative, and NOT whiny and full of cursing and swearing. The messages are moderator reviewed before they are posted.

This alone is probably not enough. We need to email the show, and possibly phone them. Be willing to appear on the show, and explain why salvia is not dangerous, and why it should just be age restricted instead of banned (like alcohol and tobacco). We can't let the stupid kids who abuse it ruin it for us all.

If we get enough people to push for a fair and unbiased review of the plant on his forums then maybe...just MAYBE...a LARGE SCALE AUDIENCE OF PARENTS CONCERNED ABOUT THEIR CHILDREN WILL HEAR THE TRUTH ABOUT SALVIA AND STOP PUSHING FOR LEGISLATION!!!!!

This could be bad if he crumbles under what I'm almost sure SOMEONE is leaning on him to give the standard media review. But it could be SALVIA'S SALVATION if we put enough pulic pressure on him for the truth. I saw half a dozen comments on the board all being positive about Salvia. I also wrote my own! VIVA LA SALVIA!!

If he did do a good review on the product I would probably start watching the DrPhil show with fanatic devotion because I would fall in love with him. I have lots of love for anyone who stands up for the truth in spite of political pressure for misinformation based on occulted agendas.

Some of teh people recruited for this show were recruited from youtube videos,i know because my girlfriend was contacted and we almost made it on the show. While i think that this show shouldent happen i figured that they need at least one (semi)in tellegent person on ther to explain salvia beyond the kids that are going to be like: "oh dudez it fux u up soooo bad, i likez it more then when me n my friendz are huff'n gas" i think that the reason we werent acepted was because of our intelegence. they also seemed surprised that swim was a gfrower who only used salvia once or twice a year and that it caused no problems in my life. so if anyopne else trys to get on tell them you use it weekly or more and that your family life is falling apart becuase of it. illl have my lovely pirate wench upload any info she might still have around.

Hmmm very interesting....Sounds like they didn't like your answers and still trying to stir the media pot by creating more controversy over salvia. It seems like they just want to see it banned and made a schedule 1 drug. I don't mind them doing a segment on this as long as they present both sides and not make it a one sided segment saying oooh salvia is bad and addictive and our kids are getting high off of it and its legal....such BS

Salvia is obviously a risky business....guilt by association with Texas, the choking game and a 12-year old whore.

SWIM thinks he'll write a letter. Not about the bias against salvia, and wrong facts and other junk....that's not the issue. Dr. Phil is not stupid....the people in his audience are. He knows this....and this is the source of his money. Get drunk with Dr. Phil and he'll gladly tell you that he doesn't give two shits about Salvia. SWIM's not that great of a writer, but if he could write, he would directly attack Dr. Phil's right to be a human being. SWIM's an atheist....but swim will gladly believe in a hell just for people like Dr. Phil and all the other cynics out there (like O'Reilly).

According to one doctor and two Parents that statistic is 1. Of course if there's any truth to that assertion it's something like 0.1. Since the death was suicide there were a myriad of factors involved inevitably since it was not an overdose (LOL) which is impossible.

Sounds stupid. SWIM has done salvia a few times, found it undesirable in comparison to other hallucinogens SWIM can just as easily acquire. SWIM is sad to see this turn of events. A child failing school as Dr. Phil headlined is not grounds for illegalizing a non-addictive, jolting herb. The subject of Dr. Phil should be PROPER PARENTING.
