Experiences - LSD induced psychosis? Boyfriend is in hospital after taking LSD

Swim's friend recently had a bad trip which sounds similar to the one swiys boyfriend had, except without the voilance and more of the mental looping. anyway, three weeks later he is still having trouble sleeping (night terrors) and is still shaken but getting better. in the first week swim was seriously worried that the lsd might have released a latent mental condition but it seems swim's friend was just traumatised by the experiance.

incidently, Swim went to the doctor and complained about having anxiety attacks (a lie), for which the doctor gave him some lovely diazapam which swim keeps in case he has to deal with any more bad trippers.. swim has used it once and it certainly calms them down...

Tripping is not for everyone. Some people can handle it responsibly, others are just f@cking stupid.

He is a veteran and he took 4 hits at a rave? Don't make me laugh. Acid is not a party drug to begin with, go with XtC if you are gonna do that, at least you'll be in control. If you do decide to do acid at public place that has TONS AND TONS OF PEOPLE, take at most half the doze that you would be comfortable taking in your own room.

Clearly, SWIY's boyfriend is an idiot and a cry baby. He shouldn't be trusted with psychedelics ever again because the man is clearly unstable. Either switch to another substance or stop taking drugs.

You know, SWIY must have introduced 20+ people to LSD and I, thank god, have not had anyone get arrested or get so f@cked up we'd have to go to a hospital.

Seems to be happening awful lot to your friends. Which suggests you keep a company of dumbasses around you. Think about that.

These people give drugs a bad reputation. If you don't know if you can handle it, stay at home where the risk of you and others getting hurt is minimal. Go in your room, pull out a trip toy and chill there for 10 hours.

Honestly, Acid and Rave? Acid is not meant for this kind of events. There are other much better substances suited for raves. Everything has a time and a place. Things like mushrooms and acid should be done very very carefully in a non party setting because even after 400 trips, one thing you should know is that the second you say I know it like the back of my hand, acid says no you don't and slaps you in the face.

SWIY is glad he tried hallucinogens ONLY after he turned 20. At that point he already had a small brain to temper with. These guy is MAYBE 18, probably under. Until your own personality and mind develops, stay away from hallucinogens.
