Injecting - Needles

SWIM is thinking about how people do the whole IV thing with meth. And was wondering where the other swims are getting their needles?

Personally, Swim would suggest not shooting meth, that smoking it is plenty enough.

Swim gets his from the local pharmacy chain store, since his state does not restrict the sale of needles. Lots of people living in areas with needle laws get them online too.

SWIM heard that the only way to get a 100% feeling of the meth swim has to shoot it up. And that its about 80% on smoking and 60% on snorting it.

Swim wonders if the pharmacy in her country sells them. Though, swim is not very keen on the whole shooting up, it seems painful :P

If Swiy is not 100% gung-fucking-ho about shooting up, DO NOT.

Shooting is a big fucking decision to make. It can make or break the entire addiction factor. I would say whoever said that only shooting up meth is the true way is just some strungout addict who has to get maximum usage from their meth.

Swim still suggests sticking with smoking.

Swim broke his own personal law the other day and shot up. Now Swim's going to be filtering/shooting pills and getting street heroin to shoot probably. Not good. And Swim used to be an oral user too.

Oh, I see. thanks for the info man. Then I dont have to sweat getting needles. By the way, while swim got your attention (should probably start another thread for it?), but, how do you know how much do take? People say how many mg, but, do I have to get a weight, or?

have you tried anal yet? i hear its almost as intense with out a lot of the downsides of actual injection

Syringes are available without any problems at pharmacies in Norway. They might ask what you'll be using them for, but you'll probaply just get them without any questions. Injecting is only needed to get the full 100% of the drug to be absorbed by the brain, not to experience the full 100% of it. Smoking is often just as powerful as injecting, the only downside compared to injecting is that you'll need a little bit more for the same effect and you can't smoke as much in a single hit as you can inject in a single shot, but that's it, there are much more positive things about smoking compared to injecting which you should consider. Once you've injected for the first time, you've pushed a barrier and won't be hold back by the thought of doing it again in the future, when doing other drugs. Also, injecting can be an addiction on it's own, and their are many addicts who are just as much addicted to the process of shooting up as the drug they're shooting up. Please don't ...

SWIM started shooting 5 years ago and while the initial rush is beyond amazing, the rest of the high is not very different from any other method. IV has also altered (permanently) her ability to get a satisfying high any other way as she is always looking for/needing the rush that only comes from IV. She went from a 1/2g a day smoking habit to a 2-3g a day IV habit in a matter of weeks (very expensive). Sleeve length is no longer a choice as even though she is not "tracked" up, she still has bruising and tell-tale red injection wounds on each arm from rotating sites which means she is forced to wear longsleeves (even in the summer). She now regrets IV, says the fun wears out quickly and is replaced with feeling lost and alone no matter who your with. She urges/pleads with those who are curious- "stop while you area head, its not worth it. This is a true case of curiosity killed the cat". I hope you find this compelling and eye-opening.
