Bong for smoking hashish

hi to all the pwiy's!

so swim normally smokes his pot out of a water bong, and really got used to it, whenever he smokes at home, he never rolls.

but swim is a little dry in weed in these days, so he's getting some hash instead, pretty potent tho...
so this is what swim is doing now, he just rolled a regular joint, with a regular card-side-of-the-cigarette-pack as a filter... then swim found a 1.5L bottle of water and decided to get creative...
he drew a hole in the upper part of the bottle, not too big, just to make it through for a mcdonalds straw to get in and dip it in the bottom...
(the filter of the joint may not be too fat, or it won't fit in the straw! so I squeezed it a little)

this is what came out, more or less:



so swim lights the joint, inhales from the bottle like a regular bomb, and boom! he's high!

but swim wants to ask, since he didn't get that much high as he would probably get by smoking the joint normally...
is this an effective way of smoking? cause swim took like 5, 6 tokes and that's all, joint was over... still, the bottle was full of smoke, so after he killed the joint, swim pulled it off and inhaled that smoke... it was still pretty tasty...

but swim's point here is, since when he exhaled there wasn't much smoke in his lungs when it came off, does too much water filter the potency of the joint? maybe he's dipping the straw too deep or just using too many water... normally my weed bong wouldn't take even half of what I used in the bottle...

any swim tried this?... I was gunna try it later but I don't have that many bottles right now, maybe tomorrow...

Using a bong w/ water is just fine. Swim has NEVER noticed any difference in potency. Most people prefer the bong since they can get more smoke, and cool it too, allowing people to get higher quicker and easier.

Swim smokes hash out of pipes all the time, no problem, including water pipes.

Smoking out of plastic is a bad idea, especially if any plastic is getting heated. It using a homemade gravity or water bong, make sure to use glass, wood, or metal parts for the ones that come into contact with heat/flame/etc. Burned plastic is very unhealthy and nasty.

Swim has found that Bong increase any particular quality weed's stoneability. Depending on the quality one may smoke and smoke but may really only get so high due to quantity and time it takes to smoke the weed. Swim find bongs allow him to smoke more faster when done PROPERLY.

If Swiy want to make a homemade bong Swim reccomends a 3/8ID 1/2OD brass male pipe to plastic hose conversion piece (x2) a standard aluminum slider (Swim has yet to see them come in brass or nickel to avoid dissimilar metal corrosion) and bowl which will fit PERFECTLY. 1/2 Electrical hand tightening nut (X2). A spaghetti jar and A drill with a 1/2in sheet metal drill. About a foot of 3/8in ID Plastic tubing. And lastly a hot glue gun! Two holes in the Jar lid with the drill. Assmble, seal with glue and Voila! Hint: The pipe converters are placed in opposite direction through the lid.

Aside from the tools (Bit runs about 10-13 bucks) the whole shebang can be bought a hardware store for about 5 or 6 bucks. Swim description of parts may not be so great but a little common sense and some browsing at the hardware store can show Swiy what he is looking for.

Did swiy put a rushhole in the plastic bottle? Whenever my imaginary friend smoked a joint through a bottle (referred to as a galley and popular with younger smokers) a hole would be burned in the side of the bottle to cover with one's thumb.

Basically the smoker would fill the bottle with smoke, then take their thumb off the rushhole and inhale all the smoke in the bottle. Then repeat.

swim totally messed up in that part, and was just smoking thru the hole of the joint, so very few smoke was being inhaled in the first tokes... then swim removed the straw/joint and used that hole as carburator... and by the way, your imaginary friend should try that as well... after filling the bottle with all it can have of smoke, trying to inhale that shit all at once is a fucking challenge...
swim has been using a carburator hole now, it is much better... but thanks for the heads up all...
