I have heard of this to.... There is one called The Sonoran Desert Toad, but from what I read the venom is not licked it is smoked. However dogs do in fact lick these toads and catch a buzz off them. The venom is smoked with a "crack pipe." I got this off some site I looked up.

So what's a proper dose of toad venom?

If we assume that an average of at least 10% of the venom is 5-MeO-DMT:

Smoked Toad Venom Dosages:
Threshold 10-20 mg
Light 20-50 mg
Common 50-100 mg
Strong 100-200 mg

However, if we assume that an average of at least 25% of the venom is 5-MeO-DMT:

Smoked Toad Venom Dosages:
Threshold 4-8 mg
Light 8-20 mg
Common 20-40 mg
Strong 40-80 mg

Please keep in mind that 5-MeO-DMT is not the only active material present in the toad venom!

Hope that helps, let us know if you get high off it !!

p.s. i wouldn't lick the toad myself, there are instructions on how to
milk the toad for it's venom . . . seems much more sanitary to me

You can't lick them - that's just a myth perpetuated by The Simpsons. What you wanna do is squeeze the venom out of the glands which are located at the back of the neck and the knees. Dry the venom out and smoke it.

These are the ugly fuckers you're looking for:

Regardless of how anthrocentrically superior you find yourselves
to the likes of such "lowly" and "ugly" creatures as B. alvarius toads,
please keep in mind that they are living things, and are not in
existence solely for your euphoria and/or amusement. Then again
if one approaches any form of 5-MeO-DMT as a simple "euphoriant" and
recreational drug, eventually one will hit a certain threshold where
they will find out otherwise.

Please treat these animals with the respect they deserve, and if
you research the biomechanisms by which they create their venom, you
will soon realize that they do not need to be killed, hurt, or
otherwise injured in order to have their venom harvested. The
average life span of a heathly B. alvarius is about 15 years I
believe. This species has already survived the encroachment and
destruction of their habitat by humankind over the past few hundred
years-- as the diversion of the Colorado River has gradually dried up a
once vast B. alvarius range down to a few square miles surrounding the
irrigation ditches that were once the mighty Colorado River delta near
Baja California (it was once large enough as to rival the size of the
Mississippi delta near New Orleans).

Let's not create another endangered species by drawing
too much negative attention to these toads in their natural habitat--
the last thing we need is a bunch of hysterical Arizona folks going out
and killing toads out of fear that some kids are gonna get "high" off of
them. Believe it or not, this did happen to some degree in Texas
with Peyote buttons, as farmers became concerned of hippies trespassing
on their land in search of "drug plants". As a result Peyote nearly became an endangered species.<!--
