How to make a Kratom Extract/Resin
For overall information on Kratom look Kratom: usage, dosage, different types
Using Kratom Resin might also be interesting in this concern So a friend of mine wrote the following: Requirements: Kratom A pot or more pots An oven / a stove cotton cloth, sieve and similar things (maybe coffee filters) water time Since extracts / resins are overly expensive he decided do make some himself. Asking vendors for bulk powder/leafs in bigger quantities and discounts works, it's quite easy to find cheap kratom in big packages. He decided for 50 grams in this case, the picture says 70 but he used 20 already. He would say its "average" quality. He started just pouring the whole content in a pot and let it simmer with the water close to boiling. The following procedures are all with water close to boiling / boiling / simmering, usually always giving a few drops of lemon juice to it in order to dissolve the alkaloids more easily. Its crude leafes, although powder would have been better probably. Also use the stems, since they also contain good stuff. The described filtering was done 4 times, the last time letting the mixture sit over night before filter. After cooking / letting it sit for an hour or two it gets filter, first using a sieve to filter the crude stuff, then a cotton cloth, to filter the fine stuff. Here you can, if you want higher quality, use another cotton cloth or even a coffee filter, but its not worth the time in my opinion. Pour the filtered liquid in a small pot and let it sit around 80°c so that it carefully and slowly evaporates the water while the leafes are being filtered a few times more. This is what the filtered liquid can look like. After doing thsi 3-5 times, the small pot is set to evaporate more, till its getting a thicker liquid, gulp-like, but still being a fluid. Now we get to the oven: If you wanna be careful put it under 80, if you are in a hurry use 150, 100°c should be fine. At best put it on fan, just as seen in the left button on the picture underneath, since what we wanna do is get the water out. Put it in the oven somehow like this, so it will concentrate at one point of the pot, which will make it easier to remove later. leave the oven a tiny bit open for the water to leave it After evaporating all the water, it should look like this: notice: as soon as it gets thicker, turn the heat down a little, you dont wanna burn it. If its warm it will never become totally solid, if you think theres not much water in it left or almost none, let it cool down and check if its hard. you might wanna scrape it out will its close to becoming hard and put it on a plate or so.. spots might still be wet, just put it in the oven again.. btw if you cant clean the pot out completley, just put a glas of water in it, let it boil and you have your first kratom tea, dont waste the good stuff here are the results: If you wanna use it you have to boil it again. Just pouring hot water over it wont be enough for it to dissolve, you have to boil it (might as well do it in the microwave). the result will look like this, with a little sugar and a glass of orange-juice next to it it's bearable. have fun comments and good rep points are welcomed ![]() i found another tek Quote:
