I got the same problem bro, if you are tolerant to opiates, bup aint gonna make you high. My 2 buddies take 3 and there high cause they were clean for 8months. But if you have been using or using bup for months, you may get a slight buzz from 3-4 after 2 months of being clean. ITs because of the blocking effect of bup.


but its a life savior for coming off opiates. For some reason, its very very strong for withdrawls, like taking an oxy 80 but without the buzz.





But i know if you are clean of any opiates, for say 3 months, then take 3 suboxones 8mgers , you will get a buzz. But since there so expensive, people are paying big bucks for 1. Its not popular yet in usa, but it will be.

Hello again, im curious how Buprenorphine works? Do you Catch a buzz from it? Can you get it with out going to a doc ie...online?etc...

Bup is an agonist/antagoinst. It's almost impossible to catch a decent buzz (a euphoric buzz anyway) if you have anything of a tolerance. If you want a reasonable dosage you will have to see a doctor who can prescribe buprenorphine, but those doctors are only allowed 30 patients each and most of them make you pay a $500 fee on your first visit.


I've seen one indian company on the internet selling .2 mg temegesic tablets, it works out to be like $300 for 20 mg. That is like 4 doses if you really stretch it out. It blows my mind what they are charging, deffinately not worth it.

Actually guys, I was clean from opiates for 6 months while I was on Suboxone. I ran out of sub one day and couldn't see my doctor for a week. I had bad w/d's for the whole week.No sleep,lethargy,restless legs were all part of w/d. When I saw my doctor, He wrote me a script and I took 8 mgs and the feeling I got was exactly like snorting heroin or an oc 80. Dilated pupils, the itch, the whole nine yards.I kept getting high every timeI took them for the next three days or so. Once your body gets used to the sub, you don't get high. But if you are not a daily opiate user, You WILL GET HIGH OFF SUBOXONE. I find it to better just as good as dope or oc's. No bullshit

well i read that a low dose of bupronorphine works as an opiate-agonist, while high doses work as an antagonist.
That can be the problem?

2mg is stronger than 8 at one time. 3 or 4mg is ideal but if you take more than 8 you won't get high b/c it blocks itself (but you won't go into WD's unless you still have an agonist in you).

Buprenorphine(temgesic)
A mixed antagonist, agonist opioid. Commonly used to treat addiction but in SWIM's case prescribed for fast pain relief due to it being sublingual.
Synthetic opiate

Clinical dosage 0.4 - 0.6 mg
For Severe pain with rapid onset
Onset Sublingually - 30 seconds - 2 minutes
Peak - 12 hours
Come down - 12 hours
Total duration - 24 hours 2 minutes


0.6mg Sublingual - rapid onset of effects, almost as fast as an injection however no rushing feeling of opiates present. With this i noticed a very differant feeling than the usual opiates. In some sense I felt the relaxation and usual opiate feelings however felt they were being withheld or contained. I liken it to a starving person having to eat a choclate cake slowly. It is a strange sensation indeed. (please note this is prior to any addictions i might possess) Less of a after day effect however one is still present.
