Question Speed when tired.

Swim started working night shift this week and since he slept very little this weekend he was really tired. He thought it would be a good idea to take a small amount of meth to just elevate his energy up a notch, but not so much that he got high.

At swims work theres plenty heavy machinery moving around and high tempo, so he need to be "on top of his game". He is not very experienced with strong stimulants.

So he did the minimum amount he knew he get effect from, an hour before work and as usual he did it orally. About the time he clocked in at work he felt some of the effects he knew before, elevated heartbeat, mouth drynes, armpit perspiration and penis shrinking.

But he could not really say he felt more energized or alert even if he do so usually at those doses.
He wonders if this is because of his sleepless weekend, which in part was due to speeding(Saturday night to ~Sunday noon)

Like he said he is not so experienced and he is a bit worried to end up with dialated pupils if he up's the doses.

So his question is, will someone who is very tired react differtly to stimulants than he would, was he rested?

Re: Speed when tired.

Even on moderately high doses of speed, swim is still capable of sleep...if he really wants to that is. But usually stimulants remove his desire to sleep unless his body's aching from staying up so long or he knows he needs it. Usually, even a small dose will help him maintain alertness significantly and stay awake much easier. Maybe swiy just didn't take enough. People don't generally notice when swim is on speed either. I don't think pupil dilation is really that big of a deal. Speed doesn't make one's pupils like super huge all the time. They still get smaller in brighter light and such. Some people in general have less sensative eyes to light than others. It's not hard to play off. Swim's are just a lot more likely to dilate in a moderately light room. Just don't act like a tweaker and it's okay. Not very hard to do for swim generally...
