Yopo Sickness and Unconscious

SWIM has been blowing Cohoba for 9 days straight: A few times a day of 1-4 Anadenanthera peregrina seeds prepared with edible lime.

His most intense experiences range from intense unconscious closed eye visuals of his true nature (morphing animal faces, fractals, waking dreams, auditory hallucinations--this stuff usually happens when his head nods downward) to open eye wavy distortions, horizontal shifting, objects moving, and color changing. The last snuff he paused his perspective and observed existence as a non-human being.

Of course there are a lot of side effects to snuffing. Nasal burning, facial pressure, body waves, not feeling legs, stomache discomfort (gas), vommiting (later explained), and so on.

Out of his 17 experiences, along with outstanding hallucinations, SWIM threw up about 25 min into two of his 3/4 seeds snuffs. Every session he blows it fast and hard, then attemps to spit out ALL the powder that drips. He also tries to pull the powder slowly out of his nasal and into his mouth just so he can spit it out. Be careful, a large amount can fall into the stomache. Usually in about a half hour SWIM looks at his spit and can clearly see almost 100% of the powder that he snuffed. Luckily this stuff didn't slip into his stomache making him purge. Although, he finds that it's impossible to snuff 3 or more seeds without some of it falling down and making him terribly sick. Most experiences online include people accidentally swallowing the powder after blowing, then have a tripped out vommit. SWIM can't find information about South Americans being sick from yopo. Does anyone know how thoese tribes blew copious amounts of Yopo without having a near-death purge every night?

SWIM needs someone to help him reevaluate his snuffing methods. Although he wants the beauty of a 3 seed experience, he finds that it's very hard to physically handle more than 2 seeds.
