Pharmacology - half life question?

swim ate 32mg of clonazepam over 2 days, stupid i know, but im an addict.

now to the point, most sites swim visited says the half life of clonazepam is between 18-50 hours, but would eating so many clonazepam increase the half life, or does it not matter on the dose the half life will remain the same? or is half life effected by dose?

please help?

As far as i know the half life should remain the same. The problem would be the different times the drug is taken at since it will overlap. I am fairly sure it would just increase blood plasma levels and then from there the decay rate would remain the same, it's just calculating it might be more complicated.

The half life may be a little longer.Swim is surprised you get off at all on the clonazepam, but that is a lot. They affect swim only for sleep. Though swim has never taken that many. Please cut down.

Swim reckons the half-life of clonazepam is about 35 hours. The half-life should remain the same no matter what. In another 35 hours, half of that which was left at
the first 35 hours, is circulating. And so on and so on, until it is
gone, providing you are not taking anymore.
