OTC codiene - codiene lincus?

For the past few months i've been extracting codeine from codiene/paracetamol pills, but i'm not so sure how pure the end result actualy is... And i was wondering about codeine lincus, have heard it metioned here. is it otc in the uk? reccomended?

yes its otc not every chemist will sell it, dont get fobbed off with pholcodine it won't do shit.

I think some have 30mgsome 50mg per. At least here you can chose between the two strenghtes and usually a Codi prep with that name shouldnt be too different from country to country. But I m just guessing.

there are no readily available codeine sources in the US, but if its legal in most first world nations you can get it through customs with no fuss. I think 30 mg per ml is within the bounds...does it contain ANY other actives...I think it has to for importation to the states, I can handle paracetemol et cet, but not synthetic antiemetics like promethazine.

its 15mg/5ml (600mg per bottle) it doesn't contain anyother active ingredients ill post a pic of ingredients later.

In Canada bottles of8mg codiene phosphate (with aceto) pillsare sold without presciption.

It's behind the counter, but all you have to do is ask for it. No prescriotion necessary.

Wow, would this be like at a local rite aid or something? I go to Canada like once every 3 months, I gotta look for that! Any idea how much Acetophin per mg of codeine?

Just read the bottle - It varies depending on what brand it is but on the one in Swim's hand - 8mg codiene phosphate 300mg Acetominophen, and 15 mg Caffiene. P.S. You have a sore throat.

more than 400mg of codiene is waste. Your liver can't metabolise it.

EXCUSE ME! Looking carefully at that label, it states it also contains chloroform. That is a most potent carcinogen. read: Causes Cancer! That shit was likely dredged from some ancient drug store from the early 1960's. If you bought this - throw it out. If you took this - get a medical exam stat.

Nagognog2; This is available OTC in the UK. Chloroform isn't banned in the EU

Amazing the EU allows CHCl3 in products. Usually the EU is smarter than the USA in such matters. Maybe the American Chloroform Company built a plant in the UK and gave Tony a few quid.

In any event - my warning stands: Don't drink, inhale, touch CHCl3 (cloroform). It can give you cancer real fast. It killed a friend of mine's sister who accidently drank a few milliliters she mistook for something else. She came down with breast cancer within a year. Dead in two years. Such is why the US removed it from the commercial market. CHCl3 kills.

My Dalek is very much familiar with CWE and the solid side of things but he recently found 2 bottles of 'Codeine linctus SF 15mg/5ml'

1 was empty and 1 is full. As you can imagine the empty one has a list of ingredients on it and the full one just a label. Although its from a trusted pharmacy. He did check the ingredients but nothing which he thought would be bad. Kept an eye out for CHCl3 and its all good.

Is there any thing stopping him drinking a good amount? Or should he use some after his does his CWE?

He heard that it can cause stomach upsets and the runs is this true?
