Comedown - Blood in urine after many pills

It was my best friends birthday - a good few months ago, and of course she took many pills (a stupid amount which won't be disclosed uncase people start telling her off). The next few days she found her self urinating a bit of blood each time she went for a wee.
Why was this? What damage did the pills do? They were Doves for your information.

SWIM says get her to a doctor NOW. Do not hesitate and be sure that the doctors know exactly what was taken, how much was taken and how long ago. Being honest about this could prevent further complications from drug interactions. Unless SWIY lives in a country where even admitting use is illegal(SWIM highly doubts that), give them the information.

She won't go to the doctor unless this happens again because she's been feeling on top form recently and hasnt had any other health problems. It was also a couple of months ago..

i know it's because of sweys ket thread, pls do'nt be shy or afraid to give amounts & info. people will be people & swey should expect to hear certain things even though swey does'nt want to. as for the blood i'm sure swey knows the difference but smurf knows smurfette gets blood after various drugs but it's from her menstrual cycle from her hormones & emotions changing from the effects of the drugs. perhaps it's this?

This is the problem with her and alcohol! Alcohol makes her forget that you can't take endless amounts of drugs and all sensibleness evapourates.
She doesnt think it's a mentrual thing either, it was definatly in the wee!
I doubt it was a really bad thing, if it was kidney failiure she'd be very ill?

well with these symptoms & knowledge of what alcohol does to swey, swey should know to becarefull in the future as everyone knows & can relate to what alcohol does to swimmers thoughts. hopefully someone can provide a better answer to swey's problem she had. be safe & carefull in the future as this is the 2nd scary story from swey's friend now that smurf has read.

A home-remedy many swear by for bladder infections (far more common in girls than boys) is cranberry-juice. Drinking a few glasses of this will often cause the infection to vanish in a day or two.

Cranberry juice is amazing for bladder infections plus it tastes nice

but I second what Panthers007 is saying, being a responsible drug user and always considering the health of swiy's body is always priority number one, even if it means having to be honest with a doctor about what may be causing a problem.

I guess It doesnt matter any more because she's learnt her lesson.

Was there any discomfort when urinating? Even a slight tingling which may have caused SWIY to check, or did SWIY just see it in the toilet, or when wiping?

She saw it in the toilet and there was no discomfort and she was completly fine the next day.
