Live cutting or dried?

SWIm wants to order some cacti but doesn't know what the best choice is.

for the same price SWIm can buy

T.pachanoi or T.peruvianus
(around 1000g live cutting) -

or

what is the smartest choice for SWIM and why?

and anyone knows what the dose is for 1 person? in grams of live cutting and dried? approximately off course
