The psychedelic effects of harmalas a result of enogenous dmt?
SWIM read this off of the wiki: page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harmala_alkaloid
"The harmala alkaloids are also psychoactive on their own if the dosage is sufficient, perhaps due to endogenous sources of DMT in the human brain." SWIM was under the impression that the amount of dmt in the body is minute. SWIM does not believe this statement to be true. SWIM has taken pharmahuasca where there was just enough harmaline to achieve MAO inhibiting effects and a massive dose of dmt (200mg). And swim has also taken just a huge dose of harmaline. Both had very different effects. The effects of the harmaline were more dissociative-like visions while the dmt was more psychedelic-like (distortions of what's already there). Sal-A
