UK - Can drug hair strand tests determine exact month of use??? Help please

Sorry was not sure exactly where to post this???

I need to know if a hair strand test will be able to show an incidence in August and early October as 2 seperate incidents??

I can't seem to find out just what the pattern comes out as?

NO a lab test of a strand of hair determines and detects the drugs used only- it cannot distinguish between TWO seperate incidences

i hate to presume into areas i know nothing about but i assume if you cut the hair into segments and test them separately then divide results by average growth rate you could get approxomate indications of time taken? and also if a persons whos hair is being tested in custody then their own growth rate be sampled?

they may not do it now but it seems plausable, or am i way off base (and if so why)?

^^There is an effort by analytical forensic community to determine time of use based on analytical data from any kind of sample. Its possible to predict to a degree. I do not know the details on the hair test but it can be done with urine and blood.
