Pharmacology - Evaporating codeine solution

How should SWIM go about this? does anyone have any experience with this?

SWIM thinks it would be easier to keep powdered codeine around instead of the solution.

If swiy is refering to liquid gotten from a c.w.e then swim would evaporate liquid on a flat clean metal baking tray,In the oven at a temp less than 70c?,unless swiy has got real fancy oven,swiy may need to leave door slightly ajar even when oven is on real low.Once liquid as almost evaporated turn oven off to avoid burning any of the residue.
This tin may then need to be left to rest for 12-24hrs to ensure powder is fully dried.scrape up solid powder with razor blade,chop up finely and hey presto!This powder will contain a % of caffine?and % of paracetamol?
??=Swim is at present conducting tests to estabolish effects of heat on codeine, And caffine/paracetamol content of C.W.E and variations of C.W.E

Would this also work with dihydrocodeine? Is there any loss in quality in the product when all the water has is evaporated?

As far as swim knows (research)DHC is more stable to heat than codeine,so as said above if kept below 80c poss 70c for codeine it should be ok?
Swim is trying to get posotive cofirmation on temps effect,caffine content e,t,c will post any news as and when/if arrives!

Jock will be very interested in the results here. Saying that, i remember once he told me that he had left the jar on central heating.. did it work? hell no

SWIm tried it.. he thinks he burned part of the powder but it did evaporate quite well. He was able to then put it into capsules to be used without having to endure the taste of the codeine in water solution he felt the effects he normally would.

Thanks for the reply swiy,as said in origonal post watch for burning.
BTW what colour was the final product(not the crispy bits)

When Swim tried it he got a brown powder that looked like decomposoed codeine so he trhrew it away.He evaporated without any heat inside an old fridge (not working)...

Swim dosent think so mate. The thing is that codeine has to be metabilised by the liver to convert it to morphine, so no swim does not think codeine will work when you snort it. Hope that helped swiy.

Hehehe. I hope you don't think that things that are snorted magically bypass the liver. Anything in your bloodstream is going to hit the liver. That's what it's there for!

Yeah swiys right but from swims past experiance he has snorted several 30mg dihydrocodeine pills and had no effect what so ever. So what swim is saying is that codeine and dihydrocodeine seems to be only oraly active I dont know why but that is just swims personal experiance with snorting dihydrocodeine

Yeah, I've read that codeine is more effective when ingested as well. SWIM has never tried it any other way though.

If swiy is on about swims 30mg dihydocodeine pills, then no they are just dihydocodeine no para, so there was no need for a CWE wich was a good thing. Swim aquired 48 of them from the dentist after having a tooth out which was a nice treat for swim!
