Oral use - sizzurp, purple drank and Sippin Syrup in uk???

im really intrestred in tryin some sizzurp... however getting the correct ingreidients in the uk can be difficult as im confused on what syrup i need to buy? i know that you are ment to have it pescribed but i was wondering what is the best syrup i can buy over the counter from the chemist etc???

You might want to read the rules before posting again otherwise I get the feeling your stay here will be quite short.

Anyway, assuming you aren't planning on doing anything illegal I am compelled to ask why? You do realise that stuff is just codeine (sweet codeine) with promethazine, an antihistamine available OTC in most countries with, AFAIK, no recreational value?

It has some recreational value to the opiate naive patient. The whole think about it is more of a culture thing. In Houston where unfortunately some of the rap artist have made it big its almost completely impossible to get it.

swim grew up in Houston. The prices for this purple drank(codeine with promethazine) have tripled since the explosion of rap artist. No they were not the ones who discovered it but they were the ones who ruined it. At least in Houston.

If sally remembers correctly the last time she tried to get promethazine in Europe it was in belgium and they no longer had it avaliable a chemist had to make it from scratch for him. She has very interesting pictures of that process. Not sure on the whole uk thing though.

It is the whole vibe in houston. Cheap housing and relatively high paying jobs has created the 4th largest city in the states. This causes people to want to just chill out and block out the fast pace of the city.

Promethazine works as a sedative. Purple drank or syzzurp is like above promethazine and codiene couch mix. Technically swiy could do a CWE on tylenol containing codeine and mix it with jolly ranchers and drink it and it would give similiar effects to purple drank, but the promethazine does add to it. Also as a potentiator.

Yellow tus or tussin is actually tussionex and not robotussin. Tussionex contains hydrocodone and a antihistamine chlorpheniramine, most cough medicines do contain antihistamines.

You can't. You'll need prescription cough medicine containing codiene and promethazine. I've been trying to make some sizzurp for a while it obviously isn't a big thing over here in the UK so it's basically impossible to buy prescription cough medicine on the street.

Dont even bother, all it is is codeine with promethazine to prevent nausea. It's way over priced, and way over rated. Rappers think its the shit cuz it's easily mixed with a drink & therfore easily concealed, but it's not the shit; it's a rip off. All it is, is a cultural thing associated with rap music. Its going to give SWIyou the same effects as codeine pills which are way cheaper. SWIMs advice: dont buy into this syzzurp bull shit.

Promethazine is not really strong, SWIM was once prescribed for a cough and an allergic reaction SWIM had from something SWIM ate, SWIM listens to Lil Wayne and hears about the promethazine so SWIM decided to make a drink, With a little Vodka added, Juice, and Jolly ranchers... It was not much of a great feeling... SWIM does not advise anyone to do anything like this... its just not worth it. its illigal if you don't have a script that's all..

promethazine is over the counter in the uk, last i heard. mildly sedating antihistamine--but strong enough to be prescription-only in the US, not only that, but it's a CIV controlled substance, like valium, xanax, & other benzos. a very effective anti-emetic (anti-vomiting drug).

codeine is just plain old codeine.

i think the normal ratio of codeine to promethazine is roughly 30mg codeine to 12.5 to 25mg promethazine.

obviously when abused, the doses are typically higher...codeine is taken on a scale of more like 120mg with phenergan (promethazine) somewhere around 50mg.

making sizzirup is useless when the pills can just be mixed together. the only reason for this 'purple drank' mixture in the US is because of the highly available codeine/prometh cough syrup, and the fact that doctors prefer giving this out to say hydrocodone syrups (hycodan, tussinex, etc).

in some countries (esp. African nations, as reported by media in last decade), this combo of codeine with prometh has been taken by heroin addicts when they have no access to heroin.

understand that this combo can be extremely sedating. although small doses of prometh is considered only mildly sedating (specifically only mildly euphoric or enjoyable), kicking up the doses will almost definitely result in deep sleep.

here's a quote from wikepedia regarding the combo's availability in the UK:

In the United Kingdom, codeine formulations are prescription only medicines, with the exception of (various brand) co-codamol tablets(8/500) or Panadol Ultra(12.8/500) where 8 or 12.8mg of codeine phosphate is combined with 500mg paracetamol which are available as a pharmacy supervised medicine (behind the counter). This also applies to medicines containing Ibuprofen, which can contain 12.8mg Codeine alongside 200mg Ibuprofen per tablet. Intramuscular injection of codeine is a controlled drug under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.

be very careful and do NOT take codeine with paracetamol for recreational purposes. this is toxic to the liver and kidneys and causes kidney FAILURE (death) over time. very dangerous. very VERY dangerous.

1 styraphone cup or more i prefer a nice glass cup

ice cubes use a little

sprite or sprite remix use a whole 12 oz bottle wut SWIMS usely does when SWIMS on the streets SWIM pours 2 OUNCES of LEAN in a 12 oz sprite remix and swim feels this is a nice amount were swim could feel it

POUR UP and enjoy! SWIM just got done finishing off SWIMS bo wish SWIM had more ):SWIM killed the 12oz bottle for christmas mmmmm love that taste!!(:

Codeine is roughly 10% the potency of Morphine/Oxy so I would recommend a starting dose of 100 mg for a completely opioid naive individual. The best solution by far would be to get Codeine Linctus- which contains no extra ingredients and therefore far less risky- but many pharmacies refuse to sell this product due to abuse considerations. Ask a pharmacist in a small independent shop, you have no chance in the big chemists e.g. Boots. Do NOT use effervescent Co-codamol ,etc. without a CWE. This is potentially FATAL. All codeine pills OTC in the UK except for Nurofen Plus, Solpadeine Migraine and Cuprofen Plus (Ibuprofen/codeine) and Codis 500 (Aspirin/codeine) contain Paracetamol and therefore must NOT be used in higher than recommended dose without a CWE. I know of no preparation which would dissolve in a drink except for Paracetamol containing ones.
As for Promethazine, once again a small chemist is your best bet... ask for PHENERGAN elixir if you really want to make a Houston style sizzurp. You could buy this and codeine linctus together, as Syrup has a low profile in the UK and chemists are unlikely to be suspicious. If you just want the same effects, you can get Sominex tablets and pop 2-3 of these with the codeine linctus/soft drink mixture. This is more expensive per dose of Promethazine but far more widely available (packs of 8 are on open sale in all chemists.)

Don't use effervescent tablets at all, as they contain insane amounts of sodium per tablet, which in recreational doses, will fuck you're kidneys royally, CWE or no CWE
